- Day 1
Hanoi
You'll arrive in Hanoi and settle into your luxury colonial hotel for two nights. The rest of your day is open, so take time to rest from travel and explore the city on your own terms. It's a good chance to get acclimated to local time and wander around at your own pace to get a feel for the area.

Hanoi
Pick one of three morning experiences: tour the History Museum and Hoa Lo Prison, check out Ho Chi Minh Quarter and Temple of Literature with a stop for egg coffee, or head to the pottery village of Bat Trang to learn about Vietnamese crafts. Later that afternoon, you'll take an electric car tour through the old quarter. The evening wraps up with a water puppet performance featuring VIP seating and backstage access.

Hanoi to Halong Bay
After breakfast you'll check out and travel four hours through farmland in the Red River Delta to reach Halong Bay. Once there, you'll board the luxury Bhaya Soul cruise ship for a two-night voyage through this UNESCO World Heritage site. The ship accesses remote areas that day-trip visitors can't reach.

Hue to Ho Chi Minh City
