How much time is spent in Chester. I would like to visit the Cathedral.

On day 4, you will visit the former Roman fortress town of Chester. Walk along part of the city walls, see the Eastgate Clock, Chester Cathedral, the remains of the Roman Amphitheater, and the unique black and white shopping arcades known as the 'Rows.' After time to explore, cross into Wales and head for the capital Cardiff for an orientation of the port city on the River Taff. In summary, we will have spent a few hours in Chester.

What is involved with the Liverpool stop? Is this a day in Liverpool?

On the 3rd day of the tour, in the afternoon you'll arrive in Liverpool for an orientation and overnight stay. The next day morning, you'll depart the hotel in Liverpool and go to Chester.

Which departures include the military tattoo in Edinburgh?

Do you offer a London extension, pre or post for seeing London?

Can we join the tour in London without staying at the Grosvenor Hotel as we are staying with family in London and if so would this result in a drop in the price of the tour? If there's a drop in cost what would that be?

On this tour, Gems of Britain (Classic, 5 Days), we would like to inform you that there will be No Unused London Accommodation Rebate is offered on this trip. If you wish to stay on your relatives in London or book an independent hotel accommodation during the whole trip, fixed room pricing still applies.

My wife and I are 75 and I sometimes use a cane to assist with balance. This is our only handicap but I wonder if we should sign up for this tour?

Most of the included sightseeing is done at a fairly moderate pace, and walking tours are usually about an hour long. We have had many guests join us on tour while using a cane to assist with balance, however, if you have any other specific inquiries regarding any accommodation requests you may need, we would be happy to pass them along to our operations team for further clarification.

Would you please confirm the start and drop off place. I can't find the "Grosvenor Hotel" to be able to book.

I am hesitant to book if this is not a confirmed date as we need to know prior to booking our flights home to Australia. When will the tour become "definite"?

Is this tour Gems of Britain available on 23rd April? I need this date to begin from London a 5 days UK trip.

My granddaughter who is 17 years old has no vaccination of Covid. I've got three doses from 2022 but not a 4th dose.

I have clients interested in your Gems of Britian tour but I need it for 2 girls on the 15 or16 July and you only show 1 date in July. Is there anyway it can be arranged independently on this date? The girls really wanted to see London, Liverpool, Edinburg and Wales in the 6 nights that they have.

This trip would not be able to be arranged separately. The dates we have for July would be our classic group departure on July 9-13 or our small group departure on July 23-27.

Are there any available tours on October 2022?

This trip does not operate in October.

Extra legroom space, panoramic window view and seat rotation were perfect for the countryside views. All the hotel rooms were good. There were ample time in Shakespeare's birthplace, Bath Abbey and Stonehenge. The only pity is I missed the Edinburg Military Tattoo by one departure date later!Show more
