- Day 1
Arrival in Jeddah
You'll arrive in Jeddah and get settled at your hotel on the Red Sea coast. Around 7pm, your guide meets you for a walk through Al-Balad, the historic UNESCO-listed center with narrow medieval alleys and old coral buildings that feature wooden balconies. This neighborhood really comes alive once the sun sets, and there are good restaurants scattered throughout if you want dinner in the area.

- Day 2
Jeddah City Exploration
Your full day with a local guide covers a lot of ground in Jeddah. You'll see the Jeddah Tower project, then head to the Corniche for views along the Red Sea where you can find seaside mosques and parks. The King Fahd Fountain shoots water over 300 meters high and it's quite a sight. After checking out the active fish market, you'll tour Al Taybat International City with its history and ethnography museums. Later you'll walk back through the historic center via Bab Makkah gate and visit Beit Salloum house museum. Before lunch at a shopping mall, there's the Eve cemetery to see. In the afternoon, the floating Al Rahma Mosque sits right on the water, and nearby you can explore the marina where the Formula 1 racetrack happens.

Jeddah to Medina
After breakfast you travel inland through desert and mountains toward Medina. You'll stop at a shopping center for lunch, then explore the Prophet's Mosque with its 10 minarets and space for up to a million people where the Prophet is buried. Uhud mountain is an important pilgrimage site with historical significance. The Quba Mosque dates to 622 AD and was the first mosque ever built, and from there you can walk to the nearby garden and well of Ethiq. You'll have free time to browse shops or visit the Hejaz Railway Museum if that interests you. In the afternoon the Al Madinah museum covers the city's history. As evening arrives, head back to Al Masjid mosque to see thousands of people at prayer and watch the building light up.

- Day 4
Medina to Al-Ula via Khaybar
Today takes you through some of the world's most dramatic desert landscapes. Khaybar is a historic seventh-century Jewish settlement where the Battle of Khaibar happened in 628 AD, and you'll explore the fortress and oasis there. Then you continue to Al-Ula, which functions like an open-air museum with rock formations, canyons, and ravines throughout. Elephant Rock greets you upon arrival, a 52-meter natural formation that really does resemble an elephant. Dinner is included tonight.

- Day 5
Al-Ula
You'll spend time in the Al-Ula region visiting Hegra (also called Madain Saleh), a UNESCO World Heritage Site featuring Nabataean culture and often compared to Petra. The tombs carved into the rock sit in a desert landscape full of mystery and history. After lunch you get free time to walk through the commercial streets and enjoy the oasis setting. Then you head toward Tabuk in the afternoon. Dinner is included.

- Day 6
Tabuk to Wadi Musa (Petra)
Tabuk is a provincial capital with over half a million people and sits among the country's oldest cities. The 3500-year-old castle now holds a museum showing the city's history from explorers like Ibn Battuta to pilgrims traveling to Mecca or Medina. The Mud House Museum shows traditional adobe construction methods. You'll walk through the active commercial center and reach the old train station, converted to a museum with steam machines that once connected Damascus to Medina. Then you continue about 100 kilometers to the Jordan border to reach Wadi Musa near Petra. There's the Spring of Moses and the Petra Museum to understand Nabataean culture. Dinner is included, and optionally you can visit a Turkish bath or catch the Petra lights and sounds show.

- Day 7
Petra and Wadi Rum
This is the trip's highlight day. Petra's archaeological site opens through a narrow canyon where temples and tombs sit carved into cliffs from a city founded over 300 years before Christ. After lunch, you head into Wadi Rum's desert landscapes by 4x4 vehicles from the Visitor Centre. There's a 45-minute camel ride through the desert, then you visit Khazali Canyon to see engravings showing early Arabic language origins. You'll have dinner and sleep in a desert camp.

- Day 8
Wadi Rum to Saint Catherine (via Aqaba, Eilat, and Sinai)
You leave for Aqaba, Jordan's second city on the Red Sea, and walk through its center before continuing to Eilat at the Israel border, a modern tourist city with good beaches. You'll have time to relax, grab lunch, and walk around with swimming as an option. Then you cross into Egypt's Sinai region. On the way you can photograph Pharaoh's Island with its fortress of Saladin. You'll arrive in Saint Catherine with accommodation and dinner included.

- Day 9
Saint Catherine to Cairo
At Mount Sinai's base sits the walled Saint Catherine Monastery, where tradition says Moses saw the Burning Bush. This sacred site for Jews, Christians, and Muslims belongs to the Orthodox Church and has UNESCO status. You travel through Sinai Desert's striking landscapes, then after lunch you stop at the Well of Moses, a biblical site with a small oasis feel. Later you pass through a tunnel under the Suez Canal to reach Cairo by late afternoon.

- Day 10
Cairo
Your full day in Cairo covers both ancient and Islamic heritage. The Pyramids of Cheops, Kefren, and Micerinos stand on the plateau (interior pyramid tickets aren't included). The Sphinx sits carved from rock nearby. The Egyptian Museum holds ancient art collections and the Tutankhamen treasure from the Lost Tomb. You'll tour the Citadel of Saladin and the Alabaster Mosque, then walk through the Coptic neighborhood to see the Hanging Church built above a Roman fortress.

- Day 11
Cairo to Aswan to Abu Simbel
An early morning transfer gets you to the airport for your included flight to Aswan, then you continue by road toward Abu Simbel. A boat trip on Lake Nasser lets you see the temple architecture from the water. The Abu Simbel temples were carved into the western cliff by Ramses II in the twelfth century BC with 20-meter statues dedicated to the god Amon Ra. You'll also visit the Temple of Nefertari, dedicated to the goddess Hathor. Mid-afternoon you return to Aswan for the hotel.

- Day 12
Aswan
Your Aswan day includes several highlights. The Red Granite Quarry holds the Unfinished Obelisk where you can see how ancient Egyptians extracted granite blocks using clever methods. The Temple of Philae sits on a small island and honors the goddess Isis, reached by boat. You'll have a felucca ride in these traditional fishing boats along the river, traveling to the Nubian Village with its colorfully painted houses. Later by felucca you'll spend about 15 minutes on camel to reach the Monastery of Saint Simeon, originally a large monastery in Roman times and later a caravanserail. You'll pass by the modern Coptic church and the Aga Khan's mausoleum (not visited). Then free time back at your hotel to relax by the pool.

- Day 13
Aswan to Luxor
After breakfast you travel the Nile valley on a scenic road through palm groves and small towns. The Temple of Kom Ombo overlooks the river with reliefs and hieroglyphs showing daily life, mythology, and medical scenes, dedicated to both Sobek the crocodile god and Horus the falcon god. The Crocodile Museum has several mummified specimens. From there you continue to Edfu's Temple of Horus, one of Egypt's best-preserved temples built 2300 years ago. Then Esna's temple still has its original roof with unique views of ancient colors and architecture, buried under Nile sediment for centuries before its nineteenth-century discovery. You'll see the restored caravanserai and the floodgates on the Nile before arriving in Luxor by late afternoon.

- Day 14
Luxor
This comprehensive Luxor day starts early with a private boat crossing to the west bank. The Valley of the Artisans (Deir el-Medina) is little-visited and shows where the builders and craftsmen who built royal tombs lived, with three tombs featuring daily life paintings. Medinet Habu, the Temple of Ramses II, stands large and well-preserved with impressive war scenes. You'll stop at the Colossi of Memnon, two statues of Amenhotep III, then explore the Valley of the Queens and the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut (Deir el Bahari), built for the first woman pharaoh. The Valley of the Kings holds main pharaohs' tombs in hidden rooms and corridors, with an electric cart ride included for the Ramses tomb (extra entry fee). Back on the east bank you grab lunch, then tour Karnak with the massive Temple of Amun-Ra and the quieter Temple of Khinsu. The Luxor Museum has impressive collections and mummies from this area. After dark, the illuminated Luxor Temple is magical with time to stroll the nearby souk. Visit order may shift based on weather and crowds.
