  it was a wonderful tour. Our English guide - Sophia, took very good care of the small English group; Aurora - the guide for the Spanish/Portuguese speaking group was also great. we saw a lot of Italy, much more than we expected! we hope to go on more Europamundo tours in the future. this is just our 4th.Show more

  I did this tour in Dec 2022 and I was very happy with the places we visited, the accomodations and the friendly & knowledgable guides - Lucca, Miguel & Macarena. We did have a good mixture of English, Portuguese and Spanish speakers so the guides spoke in all 3 languages. The only issue I had was that we had 3 days in Rome, yet we just drove around for a few hours on Day 2. I ended up visiting the sites and museums by myself. This portion of the trip definitely needs to be addressed. Apart from that, the tour was fantastic and I ended up making some amazing new friends from around the world and great memories. I wish Europamundo all the best.Show more

  Not informitive, we didn't know what and for how long we are going to do in any given day. There were too many stops and activities for one day, long exausting days, but Francesca is a good kind hearted tour leader. We had an included dinner, but not received it. Suggestion: if you omit one stop a day frm activities (2-3 hrs.), it will become a more enjoyable tour., also too many churches in the schedule, one or two was enough.Show more

  Tour said English, was in Spanish. there were only 3 English speaking persons on a bus of 45. We had to change buses and tours groups multiple times as they mix tours up depending on destinations. Seemed unorganised, lack of any information at the very start, we didn't know what we were doing, who to see, when to meet etc The whole tour seemed lacking of coordination. Many places seemed very rushed, and by rushed i mean 45 mins - 1hr in a larger city. Got to Milan so late the Duomo was closed as well as most of the shops. In some places we were told to buy food before hand as there was no food in or around the hotels.But then you get 2-3hrs in a place that has nothing much aparent. Most hotels were decent although some were less than standard with bathroom mould or uncleanliness. Most hotels are way out of the city (as with most tours) but some, like Venice were super far away that we could not easily go back in there at night. The breakfasts available were average if not poor in most of them. The local tour guides were a mixture of good and excellent. One even refused to speak english for the three of us and had to be convinced and coaxed by the tour manager. We were told that the local guide would "do us a favour" and speak a little English to use when important (the guide spoke perfect english btw). But shows how we were not catered for given that this was advertised as an English speaking tour. Our Europamundo "interpreter" and part time tour guide Fabio was brilliant. the only shining star for us on this tour. He was professional, spoke English very well and was very friendly and always helpful. The main tour guide, not so much (as they were speaking Spanish the majority of the time). Summary: If you are a Spanish speaking person who wants to spend an hour in each city with poor descriptions and guides ... you may like this tour. This tour was not a well oiled machine as other tours and the itinerary needs to be worked on.Show more

  We apologize for any inconvenience you may have encountered during the tour due to its bilingual nature. Regarding the language, I must explain that our tours are often bilingual as we may have passengers from different groups sharing the same bus. This can be quite an enriching experience, and depending on the composition of each group, one language may seem to predominate over the other. However, I can confirm that the information provided by the guides is the same in both languages, although passenger participation may vary. Europamundo team :D❤

  Overall ... I had enjoyed being on this tour. This tour had consisted of English Speaking travelers as well as Spanish Speaking. I was with a small English Speaking group. Our tour leader Susana was very friendly and helpful. The tour was operated by Europamundo. From the time that I booked ... I was communicating with Gabriela and Wendy who helped me with any questions before the tour started. The coach bus was very clean and our bus driver (Manolo?) was amazing. The WIFI was fine. I'm glad that there was a toilet (for 1 Euro) inside. Throughout the trip, because we were both a English and Spanish speaking group. Our tour leaders took turns speaking about the destinations we were about to go to. This was one aspect that I didn't enjoy. Sometimes Samuel (Spanish Speaking tour leader) would go on for a long time. I've been to Rome, Venice, and Pisa before ... but the other destinations were new to me and we went to interesting places. I do want to say that some places were quite a short stop. I know that some people actually wanted to climb the tower in Pisa ...but there was little time to spend there. Some of the cities had local guides ... Begonia from Orvieto and Perugia was great !! Very informative and friendly. Pompeii was one of the places I was looking forward to ... and our guide was very informative. It was one of my favorite stops because I really wanted to see the ruins. Because of the time of the year ... and the time we arrived at a particular city ... there weren't much things opened... from restaurants to places to see. Our last stop was Castel Gandolfo and the Palace and Gardens were closed for the season. Lake Albano was nice to look at, but just walking around the Piazza seemed like a waste of time. I was a solo traveler and in some hotels that we stayed in, I shared with someone other times I had a room on my own. Some of the hotels were nice, some of the hotels not so nice. The breakfast in each of the hotels were delicious. Some locations were a bit further from places of interest. Barcelo Milan had the STRANGEST OPEN BATHROOM setup !! I had a shared room with someone I didn't know and it was somewhat uncomfortable. Once again, I enjoyed seeing all these destinations on the Golden Italy tour. I just hope that some hotels can be changed to be closer to some points of interests. It would be nice to have Solo Travelers have a room of their own ... or maybe have a lesser supplement fee.Show more
