First, what was good. Hotels were great, decent quality and great location. Private transfers were convenient, comfortable, on time. With so much flying, it was very important for us. Argentinian tours were also very food. City tour was very good. We loved the tango show! It was very high quality, including the facility, the show itself and the food. Colonia trip was also enjoyable. Argentinian side of Iguazu falls was also great. Unfortunately, the Brazilian tours were not as good. Brazilian side of the water falls was too short. I wish they extended it by including the tour of the city Foz Iguazu. Rio tours were also very weak. City tour of Rio was not really a city tour. They took us to sugarloaf mountain and back. About 2 hrs tour with very little narration. Why wasn't actual city tour, walking or bus, included? Like it was in Buenos Aires? The bus and boat tour next day was also without any actual "touring" they just transported you there without any "stories". And please put in the description of tge tour to bring swimwear. It was not clear from the description and we did not. Overall it seems that this Argentinian company is not as familiar with the Brazilian tours to include better onesShow more

  Is it a good time to visit? Yes, the time you are considering is generally a good or acceptable time to visit and hike. February falls within the wet season, which means you might experience some rain showers, but this also means the waterfalls will be at their most powerful and impressive. The humidity and heat can be high, but the lush scenery is spectacular. It's a popular time to visit! Yes, to fully participate in the first day's activities, arriving before 10:00 AM is ideal arrival one day before. I can certainly arrange an extra night of accommodation for you. Regarding your question about being a solo female traveler, yes, it is completely fine to book for one person.

  Arrival Time: Yes, if you arrive on the starting day, you should be there before 10:00 AM. Pre-tour Accommodation: If you decide to arrive a day early, we recommend staying at the Hotel San Paul. Pick-up: We can definitely arrange a pick-up directly from the Hotel San Paul the next morning to begin your tour. Weather and Trekking Conditions: The weather is expected to be very good for your dates. While there is always a minor risk of rain, the trails and trekking routes remain safe and accessible. Last Day Schedule: The activities usually wrap up around 11:00 AM. Afterward, the group has lunch in Alto Paraíso before heading back to Brasília. Flight Booking: We recommend booking your return flight for any time after 6:00 PM to ensure you have enough time for the transfer to the airport. Solo Booking: It is absolutely fine to book as a female solo traveler. Currently, we don't have other international groups confirmed for those dates yet, though there may be groups of Brazilian travelers joining (awaiting final confirmation). Our standard packages are calculated based on a minimum of two people. Booking for one person is possible, but the price is slightly higher.

Payment information
- For any tour departing before June 29th, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after June 29th, 2026, a minimum payment of 50% is required to confirm your booking with Tangol Tours. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 30 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
