Itinerary
- Day 1
Cochin to Munnar
You'll get picked up at Cochin Airport or the railway station and driven to Munnar, a hill station set in Kerala's mountains. After you check in and get settled at your hotel, head out to Eravikulam National Park where you can see the Nilgiri Tahr, an endangered wild goat species that lives up here around 2,695 meters (8,844 feet). The views from up there spread out across the valleys and ridges, and it's a good way to get a sense of what this region is all about. From there, it's back to your hotel for the evening.

- Day 2
Munnar
Following breakfast, you'll spend the full day exploring Munnar's main attractions. Start at Mattupetty Dam, which sits at 1,700 meters and offers nice views of the surrounding landscape. From there, head to Eco Point and then Kundala Lake, both peaceful spots with scenic backdrops. You'll return to your hotel in Munnar for the night.

Munnar to Thekkady
After breakfast, travel to Thekkady, another hill station in the Western Ghats but at a lower elevation of 900 meters. Once you check in and settle at your hotel, you'll go on a jeep safari through the mountains with a tour of spice plantations and drives through tea, coffee, and cocoa gardens. Later in the evening, watch classical Kathakali dance and the martial art Kalaripayattu performed by local artists.

Landmarks Thekkady - Day 4
Thekkady to Alleppey
You'll head to Alleppey after breakfast, known for its backwaters and houseboat cruises. Board a traditional Kettuvallam houseboat and cruise through the backwaters with palm trees lining the shores and quiet canals all around. Meals including lunch and dinner are prepared on board, and you'll watch the sunset over Vembanad Lake before sleeping on the houseboat.

- Day 5
Alleppey to Cochin
After breakfast on the houseboat, you'll disembark and travel to Cochin for the final part of your trip. If time permits, check out the historic Chinese fishing nets, St. Francis Church where Vasco da Gama was buried, Mattancherry Palace with its detailed murals, and the Jewish Synagogue known for its Chinese tiles and Belgian chandeliers. Then you'll head to Cochin airport or railway station for your departure.
