  Can pre-night accommodation be provided if we arrive in Zurich a few days early? If we stay at a different hotel in Zurich before the tour starts, would you be able to provide a transfer from the hotel on day 1 instead of the airport pick-up?

    We would be happy to assist with pre-night accommodation in Zurich for the traveller arriving a few days early. The included transfers are only valid during the official tour dates. However, we can arrange the arrival transfer from the hotel on Day 1 instead of the airport, provided the pre-night hotel is booked through us. The rate for the pre-night package is $410 USD and includes:
    • 1 night accommodation with breakfast
    • Arrival transfer

  We would like to add on to the tour after Geneva. We would like to go to Zermatt and also ride both the Bernini Express and the Glacier Express before returning to Zurich to fly home.

    Please note that this tour is land-based and operated by mini-van throughout. The scenic rail journeys such as the Bernina Express and the Glacier Express are not included in this itinerary.
    
    If you're interested in experiencing these iconic trains, they would need to be arranged independently. That said, I'd be more than happy to provide recommendations and guidance, including suggested routes, best departure points, and timing to help fit them into your overall travel plans.

  We would like to do the optional Jungfraujoch trip and plan to do the enchanted Switzerland tour. Please let me know what the additional cost would be. In addition, my husband and me are pescatarians and eat vegetarian and fish.

    The Jungfraujoch excursion is definitely top of our list so we do wanna make sure we can do it. It's a busy month so I'm hoping we can make that minimum number for the excursion. Is there a local company with which I can ensure we can do that trip? If we are able to do it is it an additional cost or is it in place of the other tour for that day?

    The excursion is optional and at an additional cost. It is arranged locally by your Tour Leader and will run based on minimum participants. If it doesn't operate with the group, you can still book it locally with a provider, and your Tour Leader can guide you on the best option. I recommend letting them know as soon as you meet that this is a priority for you.

  If the tour is up to 15 people, is there a minimum (what is that monimum) as well or could it be cancelled if there aren't enough people?

    In the unlikely event that the tour is canceled on our end or our partners, you would receive a full refund. The minimum number of participants required for these tours is 2 to 4 people, and during the high season (April to October) this requirement is usually met.

    Is the Full Day Jungfraujoch excursion, and the full day excursion in France included in the price? If not how much are they? Also how much is the Steam boat trip on Lake Geneva (which is not included)?

    we want to travel 8-10 days. The kids are twins of 14 and a boy of 16. I am mostly interested in outdoor adventures, the kids will get bored with cultural activities, they do not like to visit cities. Maybe de chocolate and cheese factories could be fine for them. the only place I am totally sure I want to go is to the Jungfrau. Similar activities would be great. 4 star would be perfect, we are not picky. Budget: around 12000. We are travelling from Madrid.

    Switzerland is absolutely beautiful, but it's important to know that the terrain can be quite hilly, and there will be a fair amount of walking involved—often on uneven surfaces, inclines, or cobblestone areas. Your traveler who is 67 and has had two toes amputated can definitely enjoy the trip, but should feel comfortable walking at his own pace and taking breaks as needed. The good news is that all transportation throughout the tour is by vehicle, so no long-distance walking is required to move between destinations. Most activities offer some flexibility, and he can always skip or shorten certain walks if needed.

    Yes — this tour is absolutely suitable for a single traveler. We regularly host solo guests, and you'll feel comfortable and well taken care of throughout the journey. Please note that the itinerary finishes in Geneva, and there isn't a version that ends in Basel. However, getting to Basel from Geneva is very easy by train — the journey is usually around 2 hours 40 minutes to 3 hours, with frequent departures and just one connection. And great news — there is availability for your requested departure on Sunday, August 16, 2026, for 1 adult.

Adding an extra night in Geneva and one night before in Zürich is definitely possible, and we can easily arrange that once you're ready.

  Can you tell me how luggage is stored between each leg of the trip of when we're on a tour? Also, what are the room accommodations? My friend and I are looking to travel together and don't mind sharing rooms, we were just curious if the beds would be double in each room or if we would be sharing a bed.

    For your convenience, we recommend bringing one checked bag and one carry-on, as luggage is stored in the compartment under the bus between each leg of the journey. This ensures everyone has enough space and that loading and unloading run smoothly. As for room accommodations, we can absolutely request twin beds if that's your preference. Most hotels offer rooms with either one double bed or two separate twin beds, and we'll make sure your request is noted when confirming your arrangements.
