- Day 1
Bangkok
You'll arrive at Bangkok airport and get transferred to your hotel. If your flight lands early, there's time to walk around the city on your own—check out temples, wander through Chinatown, or watch the traditional boats on the Chao Phraya River. At 6 pm, you'll meet up with the group for a welcome meeting and then head to dinner at a local restaurant.

- Day 2
Bangkok
Start early with an optional temple visit along the Chao Phraya River where you can make merit offerings to monks. Later in the morning, you'll tour Wat Po to see the famous Reclining Buddha, then visit the Grand Palace (the official royal residence since the 1700s). After that, take a boat tour through Bangkok's canals. The afternoon is free—you can check out the Jim Thompson house art collection or try a Thai massage.

Benjarong - Kanchanaburi
You'll start the day at a ceramics community learning about Benjarong, the traditional Thai painted porcelain style that's been part of Thai culture for centuries. After getting an introduction to the techniques, you'll paint your own mug or teacup to take home. From there, you'll head to Kanchanaburi to visit the War Cemetery, which honors those who died during the construction of the Death Railway. It's a significant historical site that provides important context about this region's past, and you'll have time to walk through and reflect on what you see there.

Kanchanaburi
Explore Erawan National Park and see the seven-level waterfall with beautiful glacial blue waters perfect for swimming and relaxing. Visit the Hellfire Pass Memorial Museum to learn about the Death Railway's history. Then take a historical train journey across the original wooden Krasae Bridge viaduct, built by Allied POWs. The evening is free to explore the town.

Kanchanaburi to Ayutthaya
Head to Ayutthaya, an ancient capital of Siam and UNESCO World Heritage site. Visit Baan Nong Khao agricultural village to see hand-weaving of Pha Khao Mah textiles, explore a palm sugar field, and learn how traditional Thai desserts are made. You'll watch weavers work with over 100 colours of yarn, then explore Ayutthaya's 13th-century ruins including Wat Phra Mahathat with its famous Buddha head in Banyan tree roots. Later, board a traditional rice barge for a Thai dinner cruise.

Ayutthaya to Sukhothai
Travel from Ayutthaya to Sukhothai by train, watching the scenery unfold, then continue by private vehicle. The rest of the day is free to relax by the pool, try a Thai massage, or explore town. For dinner, ask your leader about where to find Sukhothai's famous noodles.

- Day 7
Sukhothai
Start with an optional alms offering, then explore Sukhothai's World Heritage-listed historical park on a bicycle tour. Your leader will share the history of this 13th-century capital and its fascinating structures. After a picnic lunch, the afternoon is free to explore at your own pace or relax by the pool. In the evening, visit a local friend's home for a homecooked dinner and authentic insight into life in Northern Thailand.

Sukhothai to Mae Taeng (Lisu Lodge)
Travel to the Mae Taeng region where you'll stay at Lisu Lodge, a community-based accommodation run by the Lisu hill tribe. The lodge sits between rice fields and fruit orchards with traditional Lisu-style guestrooms and modern comforts. You'll meet the colourfully dressed Lisu villagers and learn about their Tibeto-Burman heritage and way of life, enjoying hillside and valley views. Dinner features fresh, local Thai food.

Mae Taeng (Muang Kued Village)
After breakfast at Lisu Lodge, head to nearby Muang Kued Village for a private guided tour. Learn about village life, local reforestation efforts, and how produce grows in the orchards. Check out an organic farm and select ingredients for a hands-on cooking class where you'll prepare traditional Thai food. Later, join villagers in a palm leaf weaving workshop to create ornaments and accessories. End the day with a barbeque dinner at Mae Tamaan Base Camp.

Mae Taeng to Chiang Mai
Travel to the Elephant Nature Park, a sanctuary for rescued elephants and other animals. An expert local guide will share the stories of the rescued elephants and issues they face in Southeast Asia. Watch the elephants bathe and play from a viewing platform, then have a vegetarian buffet lunch. Return to Chiang Mai and visit Yimsoo Café, which supports workers living with disabilities. The evening is free to explore the vibrant Night Bazaar, the Old Town with its surrounding moats, or find dinner recommendations from your leader.

Chiang Mai
Drive to Doi Suthep, a famous temple complex, via a scenic winding mountain road. Climb 300 Naga-guarded steps to reach one of Thailand's beautiful temples with fantastic panoramic views of Chiang Mai city. Return to the city and relax before your farewell dinner cooked by a local chef. You'll have Thai fusion food made with local ingredients as you reflect on your Northern Thailand adventures.
