Itinerary

  1. Day 1

    Luxor

    You'll arrive in Luxor and meet your representative for a transfer to your cruise boat. After settling in with lunch on board, head out to see Karnak and Luxor Temples, then return for dinner. It's a solid introduction to the temples and a chance to get comfortable on the boat.

  2. Day 2

    Edfu - Kom Ombo

    Breakfast happens on board as the boat crosses the Esna lock toward the town of Esna. You'll visit the Esna Temple, which honors the gods Khnum, Neith, and Heka. From there, continue sailing to Edfu to see the Temple of Horus, one of Egypt's best-preserved temples. The boat keeps moving toward Kom Ombo, with dinner served while you're on the water.

  3. Day 3

    Aswan

    After breakfast, walk through the Temple of Kom Ombo, dedicated to gods Horus and Sobek. You'll head back to the boat for lunch, then spend the rest of the day sailing toward Aswan as the boat moves south along the Nile.

  4. Day 4

    Aswan

    Start with breakfast, then visit the High Dam, a massive rock-filled structure. Later, take a short sail to the Temple of Philae on Agilika Island. This temple was moved to higher ground after Lake Nasser flooded its original site, which is a pretty interesting bit of history. Return to the boat for dinner.

  5. Day 5

    Aswan

    After breakfast, take a felucca sail to see the Botanical Gardens on Kitchener Island. The rest of your day is open and you can explore however you'd like. If you're interested, Abu Simbel temples are available as an optional excursion either by flight (around $250 per person) or by coach (around $110 per person).

  6. Day 6

    Edfu - Luxor

    The boat heads downstream while you have breakfast. You'll visit Kom Ombo Temple early in the morning before sailing continues to Edfu. After lunch, the boat crosses through the Esna locks again as you head back toward Luxor.

  7. Day 7

    Luxor West Bank

    Start early with breakfast, then cross to the West Bank of Luxor. You'll see the Valley of the Kings with tombs from New Kingdom Pharaohs, then the Valley of the Queens for tombs of princes. Next comes the temple of Queen Hatshepsut at Deir El-Bahri, and finish with the Colossi of Memnon. Head back to the boat for lunch and settle in for dinner on the Nile.

    • For any tour departing before January 27th, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after January 27th, 2026, a minimum payment of 15% is required to confirm your booking with Agazat Club. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 40 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
    • Some departure dates and prices may vary and Agazat Club will contact you with any discrepancies before your booking is confirmed.
