Germany/Austria/Switzerland to Siem Reap
You'll depart on a scheduled flight with Singapore Airlines or another airline from Germany, Austria, or Switzerland heading to Siem Reap, Cambodia. This is a long journey, so settle in for the flight and prepare yourself for the temple exploration ahead.

Siem Reap
After landing in Siem Reap, you'll meet your local tour guide and get transferred to your hotel. Once you're settled in and checked in, take some time to rest and get oriented with the area before your temple exploration begins.

Siem Reap
Starting with breakfast, you'll head out to explore Angkor's ancient temples. The day covers Angkor Thom including the South Gate and Bayon Temple with its 54 towers, plus the Phimeanakas, royal enclosure, and two terraces. After that, you'll see Angkor Wat, the massive 81-hectare religious monument with five distinctive towers. Later in the afternoon, you'll check out Ta Prohm temple with its atmospheric ruins. If time allows, browse the Old Market for souvenirs before heading back.

Siem Reap
This morning you'll travel 22 km to Kompong Phluk floating village and take a traditional wooden boat through Tonle Sap Lake's mangrove forests, where you'll see stilt houses and local wildlife. In the afternoon, you'll visit Wat Thmey, a monument related to Cambodia's history, then head to Satcha Handicraft Center to see traditional Cambodian crafts being made and support local artisans.

Siem Reap to Phnom Penh
After breakfast, you'll travel to Phnom Penh for a half-day city tour. You'll see the Victory Monument, the National Museum with its Khmer sculpture collection, the Royal Palace built in 1866, and the Silver Pagoda featuring 5,000 silver floor tiles plus a 90-kilogram solid gold Buddha. Weather permitting, you'll catch sunset views along the tree-lined avenues near the Central Market before returning to your hotel.

Phnom Penh to Saigon
You'll wake up early at 5:00 am for a transfer to Saigon through the Moc Bai border crossing. After handling border formalities, you'll drive to the Cu Chi Tunnels, the 31 km underground network from the Vietnam War. You'll arrive at your Saigon hotel in the late afternoon after this substantial drive and historical site visit.

Saigon
Your tour guide will meet you at the hotel for a comprehensive city tour of Saigon. Later you'll head to Cho Lon, the Chinese quarter, to visit the Jade Emperor Temple, a rare Taoist structure built in 1909.

Saigon to Can Tho
You'll drive approximately 136 km to Vinh Long in the Mekong Delta this morning. A boat trip takes you to Cai Be floating market where you'll watch vendors negotiating from boats, then visit Hoa Binh Phuoc Island to walk through shady streams and meet local farmers working with bonsai gardens. You'll also visit local houses where families make tiles, ceramics, rice paper, and coconut candy. By afternoon you'll drive on to Can Tho.

Can Tho to Phu Quoc
Starting from Ninh Kieu Wharf this morning, you'll take a shuttle boat to see Can Tho's riverbank activity and local fishing methods. As you head toward Cai Rang floating market, you'll trade from a traditional offering pole to buy local fruits and vegetables from Mekong vendors. You'll explore the small bays of Rach Nho to see the southern countryside, then return and transfer to Rach Gia for a speedboat ride to Phu Quoc. Your English-speaking guide will meet you and take you to your hotel.
