Normally there is a ferry ride between Sorrento and Capri however, if you are planning to go anytime between January and March, we would not be able to include the island of Capri due to weather conditions. In this case, you will get to spend more time in Sorrento.

It may not be possible to upgrade your hotel. Check directly with the hotel upon arrival.

This is a semi-organized tour package, meaning you will have plenty of time at leisure in Venice, Florence and Rome. However, during your stay in the Amalfi Coast region, it would be fully guided with a tour guide and group.

I'm a bit confused. Reading the itinerary I don't see at any point this tour going to the Amalfi Coast. Could you clarify please?

As the tour heads out to the south and includes 2 nights in Sorrento, the Amalfi Coast is right there. Sorrento is a bit less crowded and offers a more relaxed experience. Positano is very close, you could take advantage of your free time to visit!

The hotels are far from attractions, they say 4 star but they mean 3. The tours go even in torrential downpours because they don’t want to refund or change the day of it. You are on your own to find hotels, attractions, train stations and bus stops. Download an E/sims card so u can google where u are and find ur way. You don’t get all breakfasts like they tell you if they are picking u up before breakfast starts to the amalfi coast. And some tours provide no time for lunch. The pit stop from Rome to Sorento and back is very limited for food. Gondola rides are not as long as you pay for, however that was not part of Wingbuddy’s package. Overall I will never book with them again. If u message them about any problem, they will tell you to call the other tour operators they hired to deal with it.Show more

A couple of weeks before our trip, we received an email changing our hotel accommodations, with no explanation. On arrival at each hotel, we found that 3 out of the 4 hotels were not centrally located so we spent a lot of our time in each city figuring out how to take transit to each hotel and to all the main city sights. We did not travel to Italy to see the suburbs! Our excursions, booked ahead through Viator, were all very good but were centrally located so lengthy transit was always needed. During the Amalfi Coast tour, we heard from others on the same Wingbuddy tour that they had stayed in hotels that were closer to city centres. This made us feel like second class citizens, even though we must have paid the same amount as everyone else for this Italy tour.Show more

Our departure flights were completely botched and Wingbuddy did not provide the best alternative flights for the customer, instead re-routed our travel to Italy through the US adding an extra flight and decreasing our time in Venice by over 4 hours. A tour rep did not greet us at the airport in Venice and we had to take a taxi to our hotel on our own. All hotels in the package were not in good locations for exploring the cities on our own, and did not meet our expectations of the star rating provided for each hotel. except the hotel in Sorrento (Michelangelo). We would not recommend Wingbuddy based on our experience with your customer service before and during the trip and the overal quality of the hotels/meals included.Show more

  I can verify the possiblity of offering you a private tour. In this case it would just be your group of 14 with a tour guide and your private transfers as well. However, this would be much more expensive.
