Itinerary
- Day 1
Tangier to Chefchaouen
Your driver picks you up from your hotel or airport to start things off. You'll walk through Tangier's busy streets and check out the Kasbah Museum along the way, then stroll the Corniche for views. After that, you head inland to Chefchaouen, the famous blue-painted town tucked in the Rif Mountains. You'll spend the afternoon wandering the narrow blue streets, exploring the old medina and colorful market stalls, then visit Ras Elma River and the Spanish Mosque before settling in for the night.

- Day 2
Chefchaouen to Fes
Breakfast comes first in Chefchaouen before you drive to Volubilis to see the Roman ruins with their ancient mosaics and structures still standing. From there, you continue to Meknes, walking through Bab Mansour gate, visiting the Mausoleum of Moulay Ismail, and spending time in Elhdim Square and Hri Swani stables. Later in the day you head to Fes and get settled into your accommodation for the evening.

- Day 3
Fes
After breakfast at your place, a local guide takes you through the Fes Medina, which is a UNESCO site with centuries of history. You'll see the old city walls, leather tanneries where craftspeople work, and pottery workshops still using traditional methods. The tour includes Al-Karaouine University, Merenid Tombs, Madrasa Bou Inania, and the Royal Palace gates. Your guide walks you through the loud, colorful souks packed with vendors and goods. Dinner tonight is on your own schedule.

- Day 4
Fes to Merzouga
You start with breakfast then head to Ifrane, called Morocco's Switzerland because of its alpine-style buildings and mountain setting. Next you drive into cedar forests in the Middle Atlas Mountains where wild Macaques monkeys live in the trees. The landscape changes as you pass through Midelt and into the Ziz Valley with its green palm groves. Lunch happens whenever you're hungry, then you visit Erfoud to see fossil workshops and museums. By late afternoon you reach Merzouga Desert and take a camel trek as the sun sets. The evening is spent at a luxury desert camp with traditional Berber food and a campfire gathering.

- Day 5
Merzouga
You wake up to breakfast surrounded by Sahara sand dunes at your camp. With your driver, you explore the dunes near the Algeria border and see black volcanic rocks across the landscape. You pass through small Saharan villages like Khamlia and Hassi El-Bied to meet nomadic families and hear about their way of life. Lunch is whenever you want it at a local spot where you'll try traditional mint tea and listen to Gnawa music. Afterward you return to your camp for dinner and rest.

- Day 6
Merzouga to Dades Valley
Breakfast at your desert camp comes with watching the sunrise over Merzouga. You then drive to Rissani to visit the Mausoleum of Moulay Ali Cherif, the founder of the Alawite dynasty, and walk through traditional souks. Continuing through Tinjdad and Tinghir, you take in Sahara views before reaching Todra Gorge with its tall cliff walls. Then it's on to Dades Gorges where you have a relaxed lunch at a roadside spot. The afternoon includes walking through palm groves and Berber villages with interesting rock formations. Dinner and the night are spent at an authentic place in Dades Valley.

- Day 7
Dades Valley to Marrakech
After breakfast you leave for Marrakech, driving through Dades Valley and the Atlas Mountains. You stop in the Valley of Roses near Kalaat M'Gouna to see how local distilleries make rose water. Atlas Film Studios in Ouarzazate is next, the famous Morocco filming location used for Gladiator and Game of Thrones. You tour the Kasbah of Ait Benhaddou, a UNESCO site with traditional architecture. The Tizi N'Tichka Pass offers views of the High Atlas Mountains and Berber villages as you head toward Marrakech. Lunch at leisure happens in Teddart village, then you continue to your evening accommodation.

- Day 8
Marrakech
After eating breakfast at your Marrakech accommodation, you join a guided tour with a local professional who speaks multiple languages. You'll see Djemaa El Fna Square, the old town with spice stalls and leather goods, then visit Bahia Palace, Saadian Tombs, and Medersa Ben Youssef. Lunch is whenever you want it in the Medina area. Afterward you walk through the famous old souks and see Koutoubia Mosque with its tall minaret. If you're interested, Majorelle Gardens are available to visit. Your dinner plans are your own.

- Day 9
Marrakech to Essaouira to Marrakech
You have breakfast and leave at 8:00 AM heading toward Essaouira on the coast. The scenery changes from Marrakech's green areas to Atlantic landscapes. Before you reach the city, you stop at an Argan oil cooperative to watch how the oil gets made and try grinding the nuts yourself. In Essaouira you explore the medina, a UNESCO site with blue-shuttered buildings, artisan workshops, and fragrant souks. Skala de la Ville fortress gives you panoramic ocean views, and the harbor has traditional blue fishing boats. You walk along the beach and through Moulay Hassan Square. Lunch comes from a seaside restaurant with fresh fish and local coastal food. You return to Marrakech in the evening.

Marrakech (Free Day)
This day is yours to spend how you like around Marrakech. Several optional activities are available for extra fees, including a traditional hammam and spa treatment, quad biking through palm groves, a hot air balloon ride over the city, quad biking and dinner in Agafay Desert, or a day trip to Ouzoud Waterfall or the Three Valleys in the Atlas Mountains. Pick what interests you or just relax.

Ourika Valley
Your driver picks you up at 8:00 AM for a scenic drive to Ourika Valley in the Atlas Mountain foothills. You walk through small Berber villages, each with their own character and local artists working with pottery and weaving. If you're up for a hike, you can go higher to see waterfalls at Setti Fatma with great photo opportunities. Lunch is traditional tajine served at a riverside restaurant with waterfalls and terraced gardens around you. After eating you take an easy walk along the riverbanks. On your way back to Marrakech, there's an optional hammam and spa experience available if you want it.
