Santiago to Torres del Paine National Park
After flying south to Patagonia, you'll check in at your hotel right at the entrance to Torres del Paine National Park. You have four nights here, which gives you plenty of time to explore. The nearby town of Puerto Natales is your main hub for getting to the southern Chilean fjords. Your hotel includes daily excursions, meals featuring local Patagonian cooking, and drinks, so you're pretty well set up.

- Day 3
Torres del Paine National Park
Your first day in Torres del Paine starts your exploration of one of the world's great national parks. You'll see glaciers with bright turquoise lakes, dramatic rock formations, and golden grasslands where guanacos roam and pumas hide. Over the next three days, you can pick from small group activities or go at your own pace. Each evening you return to your lodge to relax and take in the views while meeting other travelers.

Torres del Paine National Park
The park's varied landscapes give you lots of options today. Today you're out on the water exploring Torres del Paine's waterways. You can kayak on the bright blue lakes and rivers, paddling right up to see Grey Glacier's face from the water. If fishing interests you, the Serrano River has good trout and salmon. After your activities, dinner back at the lodge features Patagonian-inspired cooking paired with South American wines. Like before, activities are small group and self-paced.

Torres del Paine National Park to El Calafate
You'll leave Torres del Paine this morning and drive across into Argentina, arriving in El Calafate. Local tradition says if you eat one of the small blue calafate berries, you'll return to Patagonia someday. This town is your entry point to Los Glaciares National Park, known for huge glacier fields, colorful glacial lakes, and jagged peaks. You're settling in for three nights here, so you can take things at a relaxed pace.

El Calafate
You're heading to Los Glaciares National Park today, a World Heritage site since 1937. A cruise on Lake Argentino gets you close to Perito Moreno Glacier, which rises about 74 meters above the water. Watch massive chunks of ice calve off with loud crashes. Afterward, you'll walk along boardwalks to see the glacier from above, checking out this 250-square-kilometer expanse of ice and snow.

Today takes you out to an estancia, a traditional ranch surrounded by glaciers, snowy peaks, and lakes. You'll experience real Patagonian culture and the frontier spirit that still runs through these vast properties. Riding horses gives you a chance to see the rugged landscape up close while learning about the gaucho heritage. This evening is a farewell dinner with your tour director and the group, marking the end of your land portion.

El Calafate to Ushuaia
You'll transfer to the airport and say goodbye to your tour director and travel companions. From there, you fly to Ushuaia on Tierra del Fuego, the world's southernmost city. You'll board the Scenic Eclipse II, an ultra-luxury yacht, where the crew greets you warmly. As you leave South America, you cruise through the Beagle Channel, named after Darwin's famous ship, with dramatic Andean views from your private deck or the observation areas.

Drake Passage crossing

As you enter Antarctic waters, conditions can be unpredictable but the scenery is incredible. This team includes geologists, historians, bird specialists, marine biologists, and glaciologists, up to 20 people who really know Antarctica.

From your suite's floor-to-ceiling doors, you see icebergs shaped by nature and glacial mountains rising thousands of meters from the ocean.
