- Day 1
Ho Chi Minh City
You'll arrive at Tan Son Nhat International Airport and head to your hotel in central Ho Chi Minh City (the transfer takes around 45 minutes). If you get there by 3:30pm, there's a welcome meeting at 4pm where you'll walk through the city center and see the Opera House, Hotel de Ville, Notre Dame Cathedral, and the GPO building.

Ho Chi Minh City
Start early with a 90-minute drive through rush-hour traffic to the suburbs, then pick up your bikes. You'll cycle 30km to Ben Duoc and explore the Cu Chi Tunnels, with an option to crawl through a specially adapted section. After lunch, cycle another 20km toward Ben Nay before heading back to Saigon by bus. Dinner is at KOTO, a social enterprise restaurant that trains disadvantaged youth.

Ho Chi Minh City to Mui Ne
Leave Ho Chi Minh City early and drive around 2.5 hours to Loc An to start cycling. You'll ride about 30km along a mostly flat coastal route to Binh Chau for lunch. From there, drive to Ke Ga Cape to see a French lighthouse built in 1899 (Vietnam's oldest and tallest), then cycle 25km more along the coast to Phan Thiet City. Later transfer to Mui Ne, a beach resort town where you'll stay at a seaside hotel with pool access.

- Day 4
Mui Ne to Phan Rang
After a short drive to the sand dunes, you'll cycle to Bau Trang (White Lake), a striking desert landscape with white sand dunes next to turquoise freshwater lakes and lotus flowers. The cycling is split into two sections with a lunch stop at Ca Na. You'll also visit the Mui Dinh viewpoint for panoramic coastal views, then resume cycling the undulating route to Phan Rang. Spend the night here, a city known for its Cham minority and ancient towers.

Phan Rang to Nha Trang
Rise early and cycle from your hotel along the coastal road through villages with salt and shrimp farms. After 1 to 2 hours you'll reach Dinh Ba at the mountain's foot, then drive up the steep, winding route toward Nui Chua National Park. Stop at Bay of Cam Ranh viewpoint before cycling 22km more. After lunch, you'll do the final flat section of 25km from Suoi Tan, passing Suoi Dau Reservoir, Suoi Cat town, and the historic Dien Khanh Citadel. End at a beachfront hotel near Nha Trang with pool and direct sea access.

- Day 6
Nha Trang
This is your rest day with no cycling. Take a boat trip to Green Oasis Dam Bay on Dam Bay Island, a quiet spot with emerald scenery and lush greenery. You can swim in clear waters, relax on the shore, try kayaking, or hike nearby trails. There's a BBQ lunch with grilled meats, seafood, and vegetables. You'll return to the hotel mid-afternoon with the rest of the day free to use the pool and beach.

Nha Trang to Quy Nhon
Travel by bus north along the coast to Quy Nhon, crossing the scenic Ca Pass to Bai Tien in Song Cau. The drive offers views of verdant hills, fishing villages, and untouched beaches. From Bai Tien, you'll resume cycling to finish the final leg into Quy Nhon. Later, head to the rooftop bar to unwind with views over the China Sea and coastline.

Quy Nhon to Hoi An
Leave early and cycle across Thi Nai Bridge, Vietnam's longest sea bridge, which connects Quy Nhon to Phuong Mai Peninsula. Continue cycling alongside Quy Nhon Lagoon toward Phu My, covering about 50km. From there, take a bus to Quang Ngai, where you'll explore the My Lai massacre site and its visitor center (a significant and solemn historical location). Bus to Hoi An takes around 3 hours, and your hotel has a pool and riverside setting.

Hoi An
Spend the day walking through Hoi An, a World Heritage merchant town and former Silk Road trading port from the 15th century. You'll see the famous Japanese Bridge, visit the museum, and wander through traditional wooden houses and Chinese temples. The afternoon is completely free for you to explore at your own pace or relax.

Hoi An to Hue
After breakfast, take the bus along the scenic Trinh To Tam road past the beautiful Lap An lagoon where cycling begins (locals call this area 'the great harmony of mountain and water'). You'll pass through Phuoc Tuong tunnel and transfer to Cau Hai Lagoon for a break. Then cycle along backroads beside Cau Hai Lagoon through fishing villages to Vinh Thanh. Meet the bus at Truong Ha Bridge for about an hour drive to Hue on the Perfume River. The hotel has dining, spa, and is near cultural attractions.

- Day 11
Hue
Start by driving to the impressive Old Citadel overlooking the Perfume River's left bank. After exploring, you'll cycle along the river to the 19th-century Nguyen Tomb of Minh Mang and visit the mausoleum. Head back to freshen up at the hotel, then depart mid to late afternoon on the overnight train to Hanoi in soft-sleeper cabins with four bunk beds per cabin. Bedding is provided, and carriages have both Western and Asian-style toilets.

Arrive in Hanoi early morning and drive to your hotel for breakfast and to freshen up. Later, drive 2.5 hours south to Halong Bay for an overnight cruise on Lan Ha Bay (clearer water and fewer crowds than the main Halong area). Board around midday with lunch featuring Vietnamese and international dishes. You'll kayak through hidden caves and lagoons. Sleep in en suite twin-share cabins with picture windows and air conditioning on a shared junk with other travelers.

Continue cruising through the limestone landscape and enjoying the peaceful islands, then head back to land. Drive back to Hanoi, arriving in time for a short city tour. Late afternoon includes a walking tour of Ba Dinh Square, the Temple of Literature, and the Old Quarter. Your hotel is well-positioned for exploring the city and has a rooftop pool, city view bar, and an on-site restaurant.
