Airport to Sanur
You'll land in Bali and get picked up by an air-conditioned car for the drive to Sanur. The hotel sits right on the coast, so after checking in you can settle in and get acclimated. It's a straightforward first day to shake off travel fatigue and prepare for the week ahead.

- Day 2
Sanur to Ubud
This morning you'll head inland from Sanur to Ubud, which is roughly two hours depending on traffic. Once there, walk through the temple grounds and spend time at the art market where local artisans sell their work. Grab lunch at one of the restaurants scattered through town, many with views of rice paddies. The energy here is very different from the coast, so you'll want to take your time wandering the streets.

- Day 3
Ubud to Munduk
You'll drive northwest from Ubud toward Munduk, passing lakes and small temples along the way. Stop at Ulun Danu Temple, which sits on the water and is worth spending time at. Check out the traditional market in the area and grab coffee somewhere with a view of the old golf course. The road gets more rural as you climb into the hills.

Munduk to Lovina
After leaving Munduk, you'll drive north through villages and past traditional houses toward Lovina on the coast. The drive takes you through different landscapes and you'll pass local spots worth photographing. By late afternoon you'll reach your beachside hotel in Lovina, which gives you time to relax by the water before dinner.

- Day 5
Lovina
Today is all about Lovina itself. Early morning means heading out on a boat to watch dolphins in their natural setting, which happens best right at sunrise. After that, you can either relax on the black sand beaches or try snorkeling or diving if that interests you. The pace here is slow and low-key, perfect for taking a break from driving.

Lovina to Amed
You've got about 70 kilometers to cover from Lovina to Amed, and the drive shows off volcanic hills and rice fields. Make a stop in Penglipuran village to see the traditional architecture and get a feel for how locals live. Push on to arrive in Amed by sunset, when the fishing boats with their colorful sails are out on the water. It's a good spot for photos and a quiet dinner.

Amed to Sanur
The coastal drive from Amed back toward Sanur is scenic, following the eastern shore of Bali. You'll pass fishing villages and agriculture areas, plus get views of Mount Agung off in the distance. As you approach Candidasa, the landscape shifts to pristine beaches with clear blue water. This is your last major drive before wrapping up.

Departure from Sanur
This is your final morning in Bali. Depending on your flight time, you might have a few hours to grab breakfast or do any last-minute shopping. Then you'll transfer to the airport in South Bali for your departure. If you're heading somewhere else in Indonesia, the logistics stay the same.
