On the return day, the ferry departs from Santorini around 15:00 hrs and arrives in Athens at 23:00 hrs. You should catch your flight at least 3-4 hours after your arrival in the port of Athens.

The communication from the company was not great. Although they were very accommodating by picking us up at our air...
The communication from the company was not great. Although they were very accommodating by picking us up at our air bnb, we weren’t given the pick up time, or length of ferry until 2 days beforehand. Once we arrived we found our driver but she had our names with a different hotel listed. This was the first notice we had that we were not at Nikolas. However the company knew in advance as they printed a booklet with our names and the new hotel. I looked back at our booking and confirmed it still said we would stay at Nikolas hotel in Fira. We ended up on the other side of the island in Kalimera. The hotel was fine but we had a fancy dinner reservation on May 17 in Fira and this made it more complicated. Also my daughter had seen that Nikolas hotel offered spa services and intended on booking me a massage as my Mother’s Day gift. The hotel we were relocated to did not have any spa services, which would have been fine if that’s what we had been originally told and made our plans based upon. The information we received about what was or was not included was not very clear. We presumed that we would also be dropped off at our Airbnb or a hotel as the final transfer was not listed as something not included in the price. So despite spending over $1700 Canadian, we incurred a further taxi charge of almost $150 once we return to the port in Athens to get us to our Airbnb.Show more
