Itinerary
- Day 1
South Bali to Pemuteran
You'll get picked up from your South Bali hotel and head to Bedugul's cooler mountain region. The drive takes you to Pura Ulun Danu temple on Lake Bratan's shore, where you can take in views of Tamblingan and Buyan Lakes from an old volcano rim. There's time to try local coffee and fried bananas before hiking down to Banyumala Twin Waterfall. From there, the bus winds through plantations toward the north coast where you'll stay the night.

- Day 2
Pemuteran to Banyuwangi
After breakfast, you'll drive to Labuhan Lalang harbor and board a private boat to Menjangan Island for snorkeling. Later you'll head back to freshen up, check out, and take a public ferry across to Banyuwangi in East Java. Once you check in and have lunch, the afternoon involves exploring Bama Beach with its blue water and white sand, then driving to Bekol Savanah in Baluran National Park to look for monkeys and Javanese bulls with Mount Baluran in the background. You'll wrap up with the sunset.

- Day 3
Ijen Plateau
Early morning means heading out by off-road vehicle to Paltuding base camp, passing through rice fields and plantations growing cloves, coffee, cinnamon, and gmelina. You'll hike to Mount Ijen's summit at 2,385 meters where a crater lake sits with steaming acidic water. On the way back down, you'll see sulphur miners working. The afternoon is free to relax or rest at your leisure.

Banyuwangi to West Bali
You'll have breakfast then drive to Ketapang port for the ferry back to Gilimanuk on Bali. Heading south along the southwest coast, there's a stop at Rambut Siwi temple which sits on a cliff looking out toward the Indian Ocean and black sand. Next, you'll pass through Bunut Bolong where the road cuts right through a giant banyan tree's trunk. You'll settle in at your hotel for the night.

- Day 5
West Bali to South Bali
Spend the morning at your hotel taking in the natural surroundings. As you head south, you'll stop at the Alas Kedaton monkey forest before getting transferred to your beach hotel in South Bali in the evening.
