Blue Mountains National Park
This is your day to walk around Blue Mountains and see what interests you. There are nice gardens to check out, local galleries to browse, and good food to try. The mountain views are great throughout the day, and you'll find plenty of outdoor activities and small communities scattered around the region.

Blue Mountains to Hunter Valley
Drive through the forested mountain landscape toward Hunter Valley, covering about 350 km. The route takes you through the interior, and you'll have chances to pull over for short hikes along the way. You'll spend two nights in Hunter Valley once you arrive.

- Day 4
Hunter Valley
Spend the day in Hunter Valley, one of Australia's main wine regions. Head to different wineries to taste wines and eat well. You can find local markets around the area and grab lunch or dinner at bistros serving regional food. Some wineries let you sit down for a picnic right among the vines with nice views of the landscape.

Landmarks Hunter Valley - Day 5
Hunter Valley to Port Stephens
A short drive takes you to Port Stephens on the coast. You can see the large sand dunes and blue bays from here. Spot whales and dolphins either from a boat tour or by hiking up to Tomaree Head summit. You'll stay one night in Port Stephens before heading back.

Port Stephens to Sydney
