Malta
You arrive in Malta and head straight from the airport to your hotel in Sliema. After checking in at The Preluna Hotel, you'll have time to settle in for your 7-night stay and get your bearings in this coastal town.

Valletta
Start your day in Valletta, Malta's capital, by heading to the Upper Baracca Gardens where you'll get sweeping views out over the Three Cities and Grand Harbour below. From there, you'll walk through St. John's Co-Cathedral to see its notable 61-meter church tower and the interior details. Later in the day, you'll sit down for a multivision show that takes you through Malta's history from different periods. Plan on spending a good portion of your morning and early afternoon just walking around Valletta's streets between these main stops.

- Day 3
Mdina - Rabat - Dingli - San Anton
You'll head inland to Mdina, which served as Malta's capital before Valletta. After exploring the old town, you'll visit the underground catacombs in nearby Rabat, then drive out to see the Dingli Cliffs for views across the island. Following lunch, the afternoon takes you to the botanical gardens at San Anton and the craft village of Ta' Qali where local artisans work. The day wraps up at Mostar Cathedral, where you'll see its large dome. There's quite a bit of driving between locations, so you'll be moving around the island throughout the day.

- Day 4
Vittoriosa - Cospicua - Senglea
This day focuses on the Three Towns on the other side of Grand Harbour from Valletta. You'll spend time walking through the narrow winding streets of Vittoriosa, where traditional architecture fills the old quarters. Later, you'll board a local harbor boat to cruise through the various bays and see the waterfront from the water. The boat ride gives you a different perspective on how these towns sit along the harbor and how the geography works around this area.

Gozo
You'll take a ferry or short boat ride to Gozo, Malta's sister island that feels quieter with more green space and fewer people overall. The main stop is the Ggantija temples, which rank among the oldest freestanding stone structures anywhere in the world and carry UNESCO recognition. After that, you'll head to Victoria, the island's main town with around 7,000 residents located in the center. Gozo has a different pace than the main island, so this day offers a change of scenery and a chance to see how life differs across the water.

Wied iz-Zurriq - Marsaxlokk OR Limestone Heritage - Hagar Qim
Your guide will choose between two options based on when you arrived. If it's Option 1, you'll go to Wied iz-Zurriq fishing village and potentially take a boat into the Blue Grotto if weather cooperates, then head to Marsaxlokk to see another fishing community. If it's Option 2, you'll visit an old limestone quarry at Limestone Heritage to learn how the stone shaped Malta's construction over time, followed by Hagar Qim Temple, which ranks as Malta's most significant prehistoric site. Either way, you're looking at a mix of natural features and archaeological or historical stops depending on the schedule.

This day is yours to use however you'd like. You can wander around Malta at your own speed, check out any spots you didn't get to earlier, or simply relax back at your hotel. It's a good chance to recover from the busier days of sightseeing.

Malta
