The ship was comfortable, the crew (staff) always polite and attentive. The guided tours were difficult to understand...
The ship was comfortable, the crew (staff) always polite and attentive. The guided tours were difficult to understand (not because of the language, I have no problem with German) because the guide should have had some sort of microphone. The participants were all elderly and their hearng maybe not so good. The food (vegetarian for me) was excellent and our table waiter very efficient and friendly. The attention to detail in the cabin was more than I expected. Even though I am bilingual the menu and the daily information sheets were in English which I had not requested but I appreciated the thought. The weather was perfect which makes a holiday so much more enjoyable. The holiday began with my getting out of a taxi at the ship and immediately having my luggage carried on board where a 'stewardess' took it and showed me to my cabin suggesting that if I go to the lounge right now there would still be coffee and cake served.
