The cost of our tours do not include airfare. Collette can assist with quoting and booking flights. At the time of your air request, simply confirm that your booking shows your legal passport traveler name(s) and the desired roundtrip airport and/or any planned deviations. Any name adjustment after confirmation may result in complete cancellation and re-booking of the air package at a higher rate, on a different schedule, or both. To address your immediate inquiry, the tour is included with inside rooms. However you may upgrade your room to an Ocean view or Veranda. Ocean view price for double and single: Holland America Koningsdam - Seattle - Ocean-View 1 Double $1,200.00 per room, Ocean-View 1 Single $1,000.00 per room. Veranda price for a single and a double: Holland America Koningsdam - Seattle - Veranda 1 Double $2,400.00 per room, Veranda 1 Single $2,000.00 per room.

Are there opportunities to go on side trips off the cruise ship to explore a town? Or rafting? Can anything extra be done on this trip?

Is this a good trip for a solo female traveler age 72? Also I would want to upgrade my room on the cruise so that I am in a room with the least MOTION.

Kevin Ryan was an outstanding tour manager for our Colors of New England Tour! He was fun, knowledgeable, creative, and very responsive to the interests of the group! He gave great suggestions for restaurants, shopping, and activities at each location. I would love to go touring with him again. There are too many favorite experiences to count, but I especially enjoyed the nature walk to Diana's Baths which led to a beautiful tucked-away waterfall. At the Von Trapp Family Lodge, it was great to learn about the family, past and present, compared to the movie. It was also heart-warming to meet Christina Von Trapp. We stayed for a delicious dinner there with soft lighting and piano music. The Ben & Jerry's tour and L. L. Bean flagship store were fun stops. Going to the summit of Mt. Washington was also a highlight. The tour was both relaxing and invigorating, surrounded by beautiful fall colors and meeting wonderful fellow travelers from all over the country. If you can possibly go, don't miss it.Show more

As far as tipping goes, all gratuity where you would normally expect one, such as luggage service, transportation, and bell hops will all be taken care of by Collette. The service level based tipping for your Tour Manager, your motor coach driver(s), and your local guides is left entirely up to you.
