    To address your immediate inquiry, the tour is included with inside rooms. However you may upgrade your room to an Ocean view or Veranda. Ocean view price for double and single: Holland America Koningsdam - Seattle - Ocean-View 1 Double $1,200.00 per room, Ocean-View 1 Single $1,000.00 per room. Veranda price for a single and a double: Holland America Koningsdam - Seattle - Veranda 1 Double $2,400.00 per room, Veranda 1 Single $2,000.00 per room.

    Please reach out to Holland America Cruise lines regarding the evening entertainment and excursions, prior to departure they do send an email with more information. Jet Boat Whale Watching takes approximately 3 hour(s) and costs $165 per person. Skagway Tour and Summit Overlook is 2.5 hour(s) and costs $75 per person. Misty Fjords Flightseeing is 2 hour(s) and costs $395 per person.

  Is this a good trip for a solo female traveler age 72? Also I would want to upgrade my room on the cruise so that I am in a room with the least MOTION.

    The overall activity level of this tour is a level 1. This means you're a leisurely traveler. You can climb at least one flight of stairs, board a coach, and walk unassisted at a relaxed pace for up to 60 minutes without difficulty. You can easily handle altitudes up to 5,000 feet.     If you have 1 adult traveling, they travel as Solo and all of their accommodations, including the cruise ship cabins, are provided as such. Collette does not offer any matching services, so if you prefer to have a Double occupancy configuration, we will need you to add a second adult to the Tour Radar portal details and adjust the request accordingly.

    The Solo traveler cost is $2,909 per person for the land package. As far as tipping goes, all gratuity where you would normally expect one, such as luggage service, transportation, and bell hops will all be taken care of by Collette. The service level based tipping for your Tour Manager, your motor coach driver(s), and your local guides is left entirely up to you.
