Skógafoss comes next with its powerful flow, then you'll head to Dyrholaey's rocky point. From there, Reynisfjara's black sand beach and basalt columns are waiting, plus those strong Atlantic waves crashing in. You'll finish the day in Vik, a small village with a distinctive church sitting above everything else.

The real highlight is Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon where icebergs float around in the water, and then they wash up on Diamond Beach. After that, you'll continue to Höfn, a fishing town where the local specialty is lobster. It's a good spot to grab a meal and settle in for the night.

There's a nature bath option if you want to relax, and you can hike the Hverfjall volcano or walk through Dimmuborgir's lava maze. Before reaching Akureyri for the night, stop at Goðafoss waterfall.
