What is the price for a single room on your 12 day tour in Sri Lanka?

The price for the single room option on our 12-day Sri Lanka tour is USD 1,600 per person.

is there a single supplement (she does not want to share a room with strangers but happy to be in a two bedroom apartment for example)?

July is monsoon season. Is this tour suitable? We want to see some animals in national park, and good balance of culture and beach.

Looking to do a tour in late november - fit and healthy 17 year old and 48 year old (mother and daughter).

How is transport arranged, and will i be travelling with the group?

This trip includes transport with a guided service. You will be traveling with a group, and transportation between destinations is arranged as part of the itinerary. There will be local guides during the tour to enhance your experience.

Do you have groups starting at march?

we have confirmed departure for 17 March and 23 and March.

Can you please clarify what would happen if there are no solo travellers to match with? Would she be asked to pay the single supplement then?

If you wish to share the room with an other travelers. We can try our best to match you. In case if there is no other travelers in same gender, we may charge you additional of 150$ for single supplement. However, we are having few inquiries for the month of September. So most probably we will be able to match your requirements.

How much is the price for a German-speaking guide and are there additional costs? What accommodation style is offered during the trip? Can I initially book a single room and then decide to switch to a shared room if I meet someone I get along with?

Additional Price for German Speaking guide per day: 20 Euro. German-speaking guide can be arranged only for special sites like Sigiriya, Polonnaruwa, Unesco sites and otherwise in English. Hotel Accommodation will be 4 Star Class Hotel & Resorts with Breakfast. Unfortunately, we can only offer Single room options for this tour. It would not be possible to change Single to Sharing once the booking is done.

  July is part of the monsoon season in some regions. However, this tour is still very suitable. For beaches and diving during this period, we recommend the east coast (Nilaveli and Passikudah), which offers calm seas and great conditions at that time of year. The national parks also remain excellent for wildlife sightings.

  do you have a similar itinerary that is 'backwards' so we (the couple) can end in Trincomalee so we can stay there to do diving? Our single friend can continue back to Colombo Negombo or Airport (she hasn't bought any flights so everything is flexible)

  We can organize the tour the other way around so that it ends in Trincomalee. We can arrange a 'backwards' version of the itinerary to suit your preference. That way, you and your partner can finish the trip in Trincomalee for diving, while your friend can continue back towards Colombo/Negombo or directly to the airport.

Payment information
- For any tour departing before May 5th, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after May 5th, 2026, a minimum payment of 20% is required to confirm your booking with Mango Vacations. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 60 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
