What would you charge for the single supplement on this tour?

The cost shown is applied to a group of 2 people. If you travel solo, there is a single supplement charged. Our package combines different group tours at each destination. There is no one to share the room, the tour with you from start to end. The airport pick up and accommodation are only for you; other times, without activities, is your own free time.

I'm looking for a family friendly tour for myself, my husband, our two daughters aged 5 and 7, and my mother in law. We are looking at travelling after Christmas this year, and need to be back in Brisbane by 14th January. We have been exploring options in Vietnam. I would like to know if there are young families and children already booked in for any of you tours around this time, as I would love for my kids to enjoy the experience with other kids around their age. I have previously traveled with Intrepid tours, can you tell me how your company compares, what/if there's any main differences?

You will join the group tours in Vietnam (group size maybe 12-16 people). The group tour is NOT that you share with the same group from the beginning till the end. Most of our tour is a partial group tour in which you will have DIFFERENT GROUPS for excursion at each place. Up to now, our group tours are still receiving guests and there is no age restriction. Therefore, we are unable to control the ages of the participants on the tour or make any guarantees regarding this.

Is the flight included in the price? And how about meals on site?

Our package includes all the domestic flights during the trip, international flights is not included. Regarding meals, you can see the meals included in the title of the itinerary each day. For example: Day 2: Hoa Lu - Tam Coc - Mua Cave (B/L) - Group Tour. On this day, Breakfast and Lunch are included, Dinner is excluded and you will pay on your own.

We are wondering if we wanted a couple extra days before starting in Ho Chi Minh City if the airport pick up and transport to the hotel was still possible? Say we flew in on April 19th but didn't want to start the tour until the 20th? or 21st? Is this something that can be arranged? Would we have to stay at one of your hotels offered for those extra nights, at our own expense of course, or could we stay somewhere else close to one of the offered hotels?

Ho Chi Minh - My Tho - Mekong River
Head to My Tho on the Mekong River to visit the four islands: Dragon, Unicorn, Phoenix, and Tortoise. You'll check out Vinh Trang Pagoda, take a sampan cruise around the islands, walk through orchards on Unicorn Island, and stop at a honey-bee farm and coconut candy workshop. After lunch, cycle through Tan Thach village to meet locals and see how rural life operates. If you'd rather skip the cycling, you can relax in a hammock instead.

Around 8:00 am, your English-speaking guide meets you for a cycling trip through the countryside and rivers around Hoi An. This was AMAZING! I usually plan all my trips independently, yet when I decided to travel to Vietnam there were a lot of intricate items to plan a successful trip so I signed up with Vietnam Tour Fun. I was very pleased with everything - from the first contact/reservation for the tour through the last day. Mr. Long provided superior service before and during my vacation. We started in Ho Chi Minh with a trip to the Mekong Delta, our tour guide for this day trip had family ties to this area and provided a vast amount of information (history, etc.) and his personal stories enhanced the tour. Unfortunately Typhoon Kalmaegi caused us to miss the “middle” of our trip (Hoi An, Da Nang, etc.), yet we were provided other options from Mr. Long. We declined the options and chose to fly directly to Hanoi. Mr. Long arranged new airline tickets and offered a few alternate hotel options in Hanoi. We spent an additional 4 days in Hanoi which gave us extended time to explore many, many different places. I recommend the GRAB app for transport in Vietnam, we travelled all over the city at a nominal cost. Vietnam Tour Fun provided transport to our new hotel in Hanoi and checked in with us every few days while we were independently exploring the city. When the “regular” tour activities started again we were transferred to the originally scheduled hotel and we were “back on track!” The cruise on Ha Long Bay was beautiful and this is a very popular place! The ship manager and staff were very kind, professional, and had many different onboard activities and short excursions. This tour is a semi-independent tour (my favorite way to travel) with new groups/people in each city. The groups were small to medium (8 to 20 people) with a vast range of ages. When reserving a trip with Vietnam Tour Fun expect to receive personal service and quality activities.

I'm looking for a family friendly tour for myself, my husband, our two daughters aged 5 and 7, and my mother in law. We are looking at travelling after Christmas this year, and need to be back in Brisbane by 14th January. We have been exploring options in Vietnam. I would like to know if there are young families and children already booked in for any of you tours around this time, as I would love for my kids to enjoy the experience with other kids around their age. I have previously traveled with Intrepid tours, can you tell me how your company compares, what/if there's any main differences?

We are wondering if we wanted a couple extra days before starting in Ho Chi Minh City if the airport pick up and transport to the hotel was still possible? Say we flew in on April 19th but didn't want to start the tour until the 20th? or 21st? Is this something that can be arranged? Would we have to stay at one of your hotels offered for those extra nights, at our own expense of course, or could we stay somewhere else close to one of the offered hotels?

Payment information
- For any tour departing before March 6th, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after March 6th, 2026, a minimum payment of 10% is required to confirm your booking with Vietnam Tour Fun. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 60 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
- Some departure dates and prices may vary and Vietnam Tour Fun will contact you with any discrepancies before your booking is confirmed.
