Itinerary
- Day 1
Marrakech to Dades Gorge
You'll get picked up from your hotel or riad in Marrakech and travel toward the Dades Gorge through the High Atlas Mountains. The drive takes you over Tizi'N tichka Pass, where you can see mountain valleys and Berber villages spread out below. Stop in Ouarzazate to visit the Atlas Film Studios before continuing through the Skoura palm grove. After that, you'll check out Kasbah Amridil and Kelaa Mgouna before arriving at the Dades Gorges for the night.

Dades Gorge to Erg Chebbi
Following breakfast, head a short distance to Tinghir and walk through the Toudgha Gorges where the walls tower steeply overhead. From there, drive toward the Chebbi dunes, passing through Tinjdad and the Tafilalet Oasis near Erfoud, known for its Date Festival. You can stop at underground water channels or fossil workshops if interested. The two-hour drive to Merzoga brings you to where you'll ride camels across the dunes before settling in at the Erg Chebbi Luxury Desert Camp.

- Day 3
Erg Chebbi to Draa Valley
Get up early to see the sunrise over the dunes, with the light creating different colors and shadows across the sand. You'll then travel to the Draa Valley passing through Tazzarine, the village used in the film Babel, and stop in Nqob for lunch. In the afternoon, follow the old caravan route through Tansikht to see the actual Draa Valley with its large palm groves and old villages. Visit Kasbah Tamnougalte at Agdez and stay there for the night.

Draa Valley to Marrakech
After breakfast, head toward the UNESCO-listed Ait Benhaddou Kasbah, a fortified ksar featuring traditional buildings that has appeared in many films. Cross the river to look around the ksar, then leave the main route to see Telouat Kasbah, which once belonged to the Lords of the Atlas and the Glaoui family. From there, drive back to Marrakech through the High Atlas Mountains.
