The local guides were great! I had issues with Visit to Ephesus Travel and their agent Zerrin. I booked additional tours like a Bosphorus Dinner Cruise (not worth the price), Cappadocia Turkish Night Show and Dinner (worth the price, but I had to remind Zerrin and the coordination felt sloppy), Cappadocia ATV Tour (it's coordination was never communicated to me and I have yet to receive a refund). I had to remind the organizer I had booked it and when they failed in organizing it correctly informed me I had said I didn't want to do it ( complete untruth), and then later spoke with the local guide who said it was because it was the same evening as another event. (Again, not true.) After a lot of back and forth on WhatsApp while I was trying to enjoy the basic tour, Zerrin finally told me I'd be receiving a refund. Their mistake was on September 19th. I asked specific about refund timing on September 28th. On September 29th I was told 15 additional days! It's now October 20th and still no refund. I've asked Zerrin how to escalate this issue as they seem unable to handle this simple and just request themselves. The tour was great, but skip the add ons! You can book them yourself there without the headache!!!Show more

All communication is handled by email using the Tourradar app. Response is very slow. The flights provided on our tour were not tourist friendly : either late at night or very early morning. Overall, the tours were good and provided an enjoyable way to see and experience the destinations. However, there are several areas that could be improved. Some of the tour guides were excellent, while others could have been more engaging, informative, and organized. I also found the timing and scheduling of the tours to be less than ideal. On several occasions, we left the hotel in the morning for a tour and then had to take all of our luggage with us because we were going directly to the airport afterward for a late-night flight. This made the day quite tiring and took away from the enjoyment of the tour. Similarly, arriving late at night in a new destination and then having an early-morning tour the following day did not allow for adequate rest. The itinerary would benefit from allowing more time between late-night arrivals and early-morning activities. Transportation could also be improved. The airport transfers took quite a long time, and the vehicles provided did not always seem adequate to accommodate the number of passengers and their luggage comfortably. Overall, I enjoyed the tours, but better scheduling, more consistent tour guides, improved transportation, and consideration for travelers’ rest periods would make the experience much more comfortable and enjoyable.Show more

Overall, the initial booking and sign-up process with TourRadar was good. The itinerary was helpful, although I did not find it detailed enough in some areas. This was our first experience using a guided tour, so there was a learning curve for us as well. There were some last-minute changes, which the tour company did communicate to us. However, there were occasions when their response time was slow. More concerning was the response time from TourRadar, which was extremely poor. For example, we were not picked up from our hotel on time for our return home airport transfer, which meant we had to take a taxi to the airport at our own expense. This was very frustrating and created unnecessary anxiety, particularly when you are travelling and don’t have a clear understanding of the schedule or whether arrangements are confirmed. Unfortunately, this significantly affected the overall experience and is why I rated this aspect poorly. Even as of today, I still have not received one response to this situation. I still need to be compensated for this taxi cost of €50. There was also an issue with the Turkish Night experience. We were advised that it had been cancelled due to operational issues. However, the event was still running, and we were able to book it directly through our hotel and attend. I will therefore be looking for compensation for the cost of this booking. More importantly, the situation raises a question as to why the event was cancelled through the tour operator when it was still operating. This was confusing and did not leave us with a strong sense of transparency. On the positive side, I thought the hotel selections were good, and we had no significant issues with the accommodations. I also believe there is an opportunity to streamline some of the travel arrangements within the itinerary. I can provide more detailed feedback on this separately, as I believe there are ways to save both time and money for the traveller and potentially the tour operator as well. Overall, there were some good elements to the experience, but the communication, airport transfer issue, and lack of timely support from TourRadar created unnecessary stress and had a noticeable impact on the trip. Only form of communication was via text on tour radars app.Show more

The tours of Istanbul, Ephasus, and Cappadocia are a must. Anatalya would have been much better had we stayed in the heart of the city. Instead we got stuck in the outskirts in a hotel that was nice but situated over an Irish bar that plays loud music until midnight...this is terrible. The other hotels were pretty good, but again, their location could have been a bit more central. All the tour guides were excellent! Most of thr drivers were good (a couple were a bit dangerous though)...the transport vehicles we all high end. We seemed to spend an awful lot of time in airports and in busses, but I am not sure there is much alternative. As with everything, you get what you pay for. This tour was a good value for those on a tight budget, but in the future we will opt if the next level up in terms of tour options.Show more

  yes you dont have to join all tours but the thing for example in ephesus day if we are visiting house of virgin mary there is no place to leave you and also for ephesus entrance and exit gates are different in this case if we leave you at exit gate we cannot re pick you from there. for that reason if you want to skip some places during the tours those days can be free day for you and you will miss all places in istanbul its okay but for ephesus pamukkale or cappadocia if any places requested to skip those days will be free day for you. we dont have an option to leave people in somewhere during the group visiting a site. due to safety reasons
