Absolutely great customer service which put our comfort and interest first ( not typical to other travel companies). Very high rating for their local suppliers company Ephesus. They follow every our steps, all our requests and wishes (like change time and place of transfer, excursions start time, etc). Good hotels, transport. If you are into history you must visit both these places. Pamukkale part was disappointing and should be revised or eliminated as there is no water. The Pamukkale portion was long and not worth it at all. Other wise all was good. - Duncan· May 24th, 2025ISTANBUL Hotel (Recital) was very good with nice rooms & attentive staff. The organised tours were good and the guide was very helpful & informative. However, the flight from Istanbul to Izmir was a total disaster! It was overbooked so 3 of our group couldn't check in and were put on standby - one of them being my wife! We didn't have time to change my seat to my wife so I had to travel and leave my wife with the other 2 of the group, I told them I would await their arrival in Izmir airport. On my arrival in Izmir found no bag. Contacted our agents who said not their problem and was down to Pagasus Airlines to sort out but said go to Lost/Found office to report. When I found it, it closed at 8pm! Again contacted the agents who said they would TRY & contact Pegasus! To cut a long story short, my wife arrived about 1am & we got to hotel in Kusadasi around 3am in the morning! My case arrived after 3 days! KUSADASI Hotel was very nice & of an expected standard. As I had no clothes/toiletries, we had to forego the Pammukale tour on 1st day to go shopping, which we have no regrets about missing the tour as the other group members said it was no good! I am now attempting to recoup the costs of the essentials I had to buy from the airline! The 2nd day tour was good with a good guide. The fight from Izmir to Antalya went without a hitch. ANTALYA The hotel was rubbish, we found people sleeping in reception in the mornings which we all found unacceptable! The tours were OK but we would miss out this part of the tour if we were to go again! The flight from Antalya to Cappadicia wnt without hitcb we had very early morning pick up from hotel (6am)! The supplied packed breakfast was absolute rubbish! CAPPADOCIA People with any medical conditions need to be warned about this visit as there is a lot of walking, stairs & uphill climbs involved! The hotel we stayed at was very spread out with many steps between sections which were exhausting. Our room was tiny with very little natural light. Long walk to the centre to eat & the return walk all uphill! The tours were OK with a good guide The last days lunch was the best we had on the whole trip. Flight back to Istanbul was arranged from a different AIRPORT than we arrived at - I would describe it as an AIRFIELD as there were absolutely nothing! ISTANBUL Back to Recital Hotel which, as I said before, is good. Stayed overnight until pick up for flight home. Overall, I think the tour is trying to squeeze in too much in too short a time as there is a lot of time spent in airports!Show moreTrip date: May 2025
