Intrepid clearly doesn’t care about their female customers. I did the trip between Bangkok and Bali. I’ve used them before and never had an issue. The guide on the first half was wonderful. The second half - Tantan - was terrible. From the get-go, he told us that he was on “probation” due to an incident with another female customer from a previous trip. He treated the women like second-class citizens and verbally complained about us. He never told us anything about his own country. On more than one occasion, women were separated from the group. He didn’t even realize that we weren’t with the group. And in one situation, it could have been dangerous. When FIVE women complained about this to Intrepid, we were told that he’s “trained and professional”. They gave us a brush off amount as compensation. And this man will still be allowed to lead tours after “retraining”. In the age of Me Too, I don’t know how a company still thinks it can treat female complaints like they’re unimportant. I’ve used this company many times in the past. I will NEVER use them again.Show more

  I need to return home by May 23rd for an event. Is that possible to do? What part of the itinerary would I have to cut out to make this possible?

  Travelers can leave the tour at any point, please notify your tour leader that you will be leaving early. If you leave on May 23rd, you will miss Day 26: Pemuteran, Day 27: Ubud, and Day 28: Ubud.

  Do you have any trip up to 18-20days that covers Thailand and Vietnam? My sister might be able to go and she's interested in Thailand and Vietnam. Or is there a trip that covers Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore and Indonesia that's shorter length? Departing after April 17th and back before May 23rd.

Visa
- Unfortunately we cannot offer you a visa application service. Whether you need a visa or not depends on your nationality and where you wish to travel. Assuming your home country does not have a visa agreement with the country you're planning to visit, you will need to apply for a visa in advance of your scheduled departure.
- Here is an indication for which countries you might need a visa. Please contact the local embassy for help applying for visas to these places.
Payment information
- For any tour departing before April 15th, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after April 15th, 2026, a minimum payment of $400 is required to confirm your booking with Intrepid Travel. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 60 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
- Some departure dates and prices may vary and Intrepid Travel will contact you with any discrepancies before your booking is confirmed.
- The following cards are accepted for "Intrepid Travel" tours: Visa, Maestro, Mastercard, American Express or PayPal. TourRadar does NOT charge you an extra fee for using any of these payment methods.
