    Asked on June 20th, 2024

Please email me the FLOORPLANS of the various Single-person cabins for May 4-15, 2025 In Darwin's Footsteps / Plus Machu Picchu (Eastern Route) 12-day tour. What is the activity level please? I'm a senior, age 74 & can do moderate (to easy) hiking and climbing. I can no longer climb in & out of the water from a small boat--such as after swimming or snorkeling. If this trip wouldn't be a good match physically for me, I'd see one of yours titled Machu Picchu for Seniors but couldn't find it the next day (yesterday). Could you tell me how to find that one?

The ship does not have any lifts and you will be required to climb the steps. The land-based tour in Peru involves long stretches of active travel and walking over uneven terrain. You will need to make sure you are comfortable doing these excursions.

    • HurtigrutenOperatorWritten June 2024

Unfortunately Hurtigruten has informed us that the cruise In Darwin's Footsteps | Plus Machu Picchu (Eastern Route) (2025) is no longer available. But we have 2 alternatives to offer which are part cruise and part land tour.
