We had spectacular views thanks to the good weather. The accomodations were welcoming and clean, the food decent. Above all we appreciated the good contact we had with Brikena from the choosebalkans staff that checked whether we were safe and was flexible in adjusting the tour. Asked on September 1st, 2024I plan to do the "Peaks of the Balkans Trail" route solo. Citizens of my country do not need visas, but I know that it is necessary to issue permits for crossing borders when hiking. However, I have come across information that permits are issued only for groups and not for individual travelers. Is it really true?
