  Nothing Premium About this Tour Operator. If you're looking for a premium tour offering small tour numbers and a premium experience then look elsewhere. Despite expressly asking for double bedrooms the hotel room in Paris had 2 singles pushed together in a 13m2 room. Our hotel in Zurich was so far our of town we had to catch a 30 min AUD$100 taxi to get into the city in the evening. Again Zurich was 2 singles pushed together. Venice room was a double and well located as we had paid extra to upgrade this hotel thank goodness (FYI 2 night stay isn't enough to fully appreciate Venice). Rome was 2 singles pushed together again and not centrally located. Although the hotels were claim to be 4 star I'm struggling to see this compared to international standards. Excursions were generally over crowded ranging from 20-40 and not the 2-10 people that the marketing promotes. The only exception to this was where we paid extra for a private tour in Venice which was good albeit the Gondola ride was a half an hour roll on roll off 30 min token ride bumper to bumper with other Gondola vessels. This was a 9 day tour from Paris, Zurich, Venice and Rome which in hindsight is too much in 9 days. We also paid extra for first class train transfers which doesn't include table service like Eurostar's which was disappointing which we arranged ourselves to arrive in Paris. This company has a very impressive web site and appears to be a premium option but is certainly a long way from being premium. In business it's best to undersell and over deliver and not oversell and under deliver which this organisation certainly did in our experience. I've rated our experience as okay based on the amazing locations visited. However in our opinion the tours service was generally poor in particular the budget hotels, over crowded excursions and communication of the transfer arrangements.Show more

  We sincerely regret that aspects of your trip did not meet your expectations. We would like to clarify that this was a group tour, not a private tour, and group sizes vary depending on the destination. We do offer the option to upgrade to private tours for a more intimate experience, as you noted with the Venice private tour, and this can also be arranged for other cities. Regarding hotel arrangements, we always aim to provide comfortable accommodations that balance location, quality, and availability. While we strive for double bedrooms wherever requested, some hotels, especially in high-demand cities, may offer twin setups for logistical reasons. We also note your comments regarding hotel locations and transfers, and we will continue to review these options to improve convenience for our guests. Not all train upgrades in Europe offer Table service and I do not see any such thing was committed on the paperwork or on any verbiage sent to you regarding the train service. I have personally been through all the communication. The Eurostar upgrades which involve table service come at a premium of $300-400 per person and that's not even close to what was offered with the train upgrade. We are really sorry that the expectation here was in comparison to something completely different.
