    Arrival in Entebbe

    Your driver and guide meet you at Entebbe International Airport and handle your transfer to the hotel. You'll settle in after your flight and have time to rest and get oriented.

  2. Day 2

    White Water Rafting in Jinja

    After breakfast, you head to Jinja for white water rafting on one of the world's most thrilling rivers. You can pick a full-day or half-day option, covering up to 31 km of rapids. The experience includes a barbeque lunch and complimentary drinks.

  3. Day 3

    Entebbe to Kibale National Park

    Following breakfast, the drive to Kibale National Park takes about 8 hours through the Ugandan countryside. You'll pass small towns, villages, tea farms, and roadside markets. A lunch stop in Fort Portal breaks up the journey before reaching your lodge.

  4. Day 4

    Chimpanzee Tracking & Bigodi Swamp Walk

    An early breakfast gets you ready for the Kibale National Park office briefing on chimpanzee tracking. The guided primate walk has you searching for chimps and 12 other primate species. After finding and observing the chimps for up to an hour, you return for lunch. This afternoon includes a community visit and a walk through Bigodi Swamp to look for the great blue Turaco bird.

    Amabere Caves & Queen Elizabeth National Park

    Starting after breakfast, you explore Amabere ga nyina mwiru caves with a guide, about 10 km from Fort Portal. Hiking the explosion crater lakes follows, then lunch and a visit to the Tooro Kingdom Palace in Fort Portal town. By evening you drive toward Queen Elizabeth National Park with views of the Rwenzori Mountains.

  6. Day 6

    Queen Elizabeth National Park Wildlife Safari

    An early morning wildlife safari after breakfast searches for lions, leopards, giant forest hogs, cape buffaloes, and elephants with the Rwenzori Mountains as your backdrop. Following lunch, a 2-3 hour boat cruise travels the Kazinga Channel into Lake Edward, where you'll encounter one of the highest hippo concentrations and over 600 bird species.

    The roughly 6-hour journey from Queen Elizabeth to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park takes you through the Kigezi Highlands, known as the 'Switzerland of Africa'. Terraced hills and winding roads characterize the drive, with a lunch stopover in Kabale splitting up the trip.

  8. Day 8

    Mountain Gorilla Tracking

    After breakfast, you head into the forest in small groups to track the rare mountain gorillas. Your guide points out signs of gorilla activity through the forested terrain. Once located, you spend up to an hour observing these animals before returning to the starting point.

    Bwindi to Lake Mburo National Park

    You leave Bwindi after breakfast for Lake Mburo National Park with a lunch stop in Mbarara. Lake Mburo is where you'll find Uganda's best zebra viewing, plus buffaloes, hippos, crocodiles, elands, and antelopes. An afternoon boat ride on the lake offers more bird and hippo sightings.

  10. Day 10

    Lake Mburo to Nairobi

    Following breakfast, a walking safari with a park ranger lets you explore the landscape and spot animals and birds. After lunch, you depart for Kampala, stopping at the Equator line for photos and souvenirs. The drive continues to Entebbe International Airport for your onward flight.

    Nairobi to Ol Pejeta Conservancy

    A pickup from your Nairobi hotel or airport happens by 8:00 am, then you board the safari land cruiser heading through central Kenya highlands toward Mount Kenya. After checking in and having lunch at the tented camp, afternoon game drives at Ol Pejeta Conservancy introduce you to the northern white rhinos, BIG 5 wildlife, and a chimpanzee sanctuary.

  14. Days 14 - 15

    Masai Mara Game Drives & Great Migration

    Two full days here have you exploring Masai Mara with experienced driver guides looking for the BIG 5 and other wildlife. Between June and September, you may see the annual wildebeest migration when over 1.2 million wildebeest and zebra move from the Serengeti into Masai Mara. Your guide will track the herds along the crocodile-filled Mara River during these months.

    After breakfast you collect a picnic lunch and head out for the open plains of the Serengeti. The drive to Isebania border crossing takes about 3 hours, with immigration clearing and then moving into northern Serengeti. Game viewing continues throughout as you search for the BIG CATS.

  16. Day 17

    Northern Serengeti Exploration

    The full day in northern Serengeti focuses on spotting major wildlife. Between June and October, the great migration brings herds grazing through savannah woodlands and along the Mara River with frequent crossings. Big predators like lions, cheetahs, and leopards trail the migration during this period.

    Serengeti to Ngorongoro Conservation Area

This afternoon brings a descent down the steep crater walls for game drives on the crater floor where lions, elephants, cheetahs, and black rhinos roam. Evening finds you in Karatu in the highlands for dinner and overnight stay.

    • For any tour departing before March 11th, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after March 11th, 2026, a minimum payment of 40% is required to confirm your booking with Primate World Safaris (U) Ltd. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 30 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
