Itinerary
- Day 1
Kochi
You'll arrive at Cochin airport and get picked up for the drive to your hotel. Once you've settled in, a half-day guided tour takes you through the colonial architecture and history of the area. You'll see Fort Kochi with its historic streets, then move along Marine Drive for views of the waterfront. The tour stops at Hill Palace to check out the royal museum, St. Francis Church where Vasco da Gama was first buried, and the Dutch Palace with its intricate murals. After that, you visit the Pareekshith Thampuran Museum, Pallipuram Fort, and Santa Cruz Basilica. If time allows, you'll get to Bolgatty Island and the Indo Portuguese Museum before heading back.

- Day 2
Kochi to Alappuzha
After breakfast, you'll travel to Alappuzha to board a traditionally decorated houseboat for an overnight backwater cruise. Check-in happens at 1:00 PM and lunch is served once you're on board. Throughout the afternoon and early evening, the boat moves slowly through the backwaters where you'll float past Chinese fishing nets, paddy fields dotting the landscape, small villages along the banks, and local temples surrounded by coconut palms. Later, you have free time to wander through the local market in Alappuzha town and get a feel for how people shop and live here.

- Day 3
Alappuzha to Kovalam
After breakfast on the houseboat, you'll head to Kovalam by car and check into your resort. In the afternoon, it's time to get down to the beach and go into the Arabian Sea for a swim if you'd like. You can also walk up to the lighthouse for views over the coastline. As evening comes on, you'll watch the sun set over the water, and if the resort arranges it, there's a bonfire on the beach where you can relax and warm up after the sun goes down.

Kovalam
Your full day tour covers several spots around Kovalam. You'll visit the Vizhinjam Marine Aquarium to see local fish and sea life, then check out Halcyon Castle with its quirky architecture. The tour stops at Analothbhave Mathe Church and takes you to the Fishing Harbour where you can watch fishermen work. Walking through Vizhinjam Village gives you a sense of daily local life, then you'll see Samudra Beach and the Rock Cut Cave carved into the cliff. Later stops include Chowara and Poovar before you head back to the resort for the evening.

Kovalam
After breakfast, you'll have Ayurveda treatments at the resort with trained professionals who customize sessions based on your needs. During the day, you can also join yoga and meditation sessions right on the beach where you'll work out facing the water. In the evening, you're free to head back down to the beach, watch the lighthouse beam across the water as the sun sets, and spend time by the Arabian Sea before returning to the resort for dinner.

By late afternoon, you'll head down to enjoy the waves, see the lighthouse views, and watch the sun drop into the sea. After that, it's back to the resort for the evening.
