We are looking for a tour very much like this, avid wildlife enthusiasts, looking to travel in June or July of 2026. Do you run this tour in those months? If so, when could we look to reserve a spot?

I had an amazing trip to Costa Rica! I thought that the hotels had good service for the quality that was advertised before the tour. I also really enjoyed Ingrid as our tour guide. She was an extremely knowledgeable guide who really put a lot of effort to make sure that we learned a lot about Costa Rica. She advocated on our behalf when there was issues of translation, and made the tour feel especially personal to each person. I had an amazing time in Costa Rica, and I want to personally thank Ingrid and G Adventures for operating such a fantastic trip! I think that some of the optional activities started to become repetitive, especially nature walks. It was expected that you would take part in optional activities at each location, as the tour was centered around the optional activities. I would like for future Costa Rica Quest tours to include more activities. As well, I would love if more activities were included as options in each location visited. I wanted to take part in water rafting in La Fortuna, as it was stated as an optional activity on the G Adventures website. However, once in La Fortuna, the water rafting option was not included as an option with no reason as to why it was not included. More transparency about options would be greatly appreciated. Otherwise, I had an amazing trip and I look forward to taking part in more G Adventures tours in the future!Show more

So this was my first trip I had ever taken like this so I don't have anything to compare it to. Overall the experience was good. Our "CEO" Steph was pretty good. She was very familiar with Costa Rica and gave us alot of fun facts. The excursions were alot of fun, however, I think they were pretty expensive. There were some hiccups here and there. Like the first night, there was no hot water in our hotel so I called the front desk to let them know. It was fixed within a couple hours. Breakfast was the only thing included and it was pretty decent. I'm pretty sensitive to eating some things so i got sick a couple times from the food. Steph was very helpful when I needed to go to the doctor for an infection I had gotten on my leg which I truly appreciated her for. I was very disappointed with the fact that we ended up in a 3 star hotel in La Fortuna when it was shown on here that it was 4 star. Not happy about that which is the main reason I took off the extra star. So in advance, just know that this tour covers hotel, breakfast, and transportation. Activities are not included. Take cash for tipping because you pretty much tip every day you're there. Also they mixed up my pick up time on the last day that i paid for in advance (50 dollars) so I woke up earlier than I needed to and panicked a bit because of the mixup. Overall, it was a cool experience but not sure if I'll do it again as I'd like to make sure the hotel I'm getting is what i paid for. And Uber is very common as well as taxis. I spent 100 roundtrip just on transportation to and from the airport and even that got screwed up a bit. So I don't think that part is worth it. Despite the hiccups, it was great. I think I'd like more control next time. Oh and on the last dinner, we didn't get a choice (which a few of us didn't like) and one guy's food had a worm in it ? so won't go there again. The cloud forest walk was great, ziplining in Monteverde was wonderful, and the coffee tour and lunch was amazing. Good work G Adventures!Show more

The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 45 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
