For the Hotel you can choose between Hotel Smeraldo and Hotel Excelsior. Of course it is possible to add one night at the end of the tour. To reach San Benedetto del Tronto is better to take the bus. (distance from Rome airport 3h) the train takes 5 hours.

  Do you suggest we travel from Milan to Rome to start the tour? We would travel via train. or do you suggest we go somewhere else via train?

  If you'll stay in Milan, I suggest traveling from Milan to San Benedetto del Tronto by train, you can buy the ticket and choose a train called 'Frecciarossa' (because it is the fastest train in 4 hours you will reach San Benedetto del Tronto)
