Would it be possible to be picked up from Cusco on the 30th of November and join the tour on 1st of December?

Yes, it's absolutely possible to travel to Aguas Calientes a day earlier to acclimatize. We can arrange your train ticket from Cusco (or Ollantaytambo) to Aguas Calientes on November 30th, and you would join the group tour to Machu Picchu on December 1st, or we can add an extra day and night and you can join the tour on Decembe 2nd.

Could I make my flight leaving Cuzco airport at 8:30 PM with this tour? Is it possible to board the train early after touring Machu Picchu?

Unfortunately, all of December is sold out entry tickets to Machu Picchu. Tour includes transportation back to Cusco with estimated arrival time at 7:00 pm, which should work with your 8:30 PM flight.

The two day Machu Picchu tour was amazing! My friends and I had such an amazing experience as the trip was well coordinated. Our guide Katie was phenomenal, and did such an awesome job making us feel at ease and incorporating so much history and her own personal history through the trek. The porters and chef were rockstars despite being short staffed and we had delicious meals and a very comfortable camping experience despite the weather! So many logistics to coordinate four our group of four and they really knocked it out of the park. A bonus for us was how well our guide paced us throughout the hike. This was such a wonderful experience from beginning to end. I was traveling with a group of 4 and decided on the 2-day Shirt Inca Trail tour which was well worth it. The booking process was very simple and communication was very clear from the beginning. The experience of hiking the trail itself was so amazing but the support staff, specifically our guide Katie, made it an experience to remember. The drivers were very prompt, the chefs cooked us amazing meals, the porters transported our belongings to our camp. Our guide Katie not only led us along the trail, she shared her culture with us, explained the importance of the sites we trekked through, and spoke about the ecological, historical, and archeological aspects along the way. Katie had such a warm and uplifting energy about her and went out of her way to make sure our group was prepared and comfortable. I couldn’t recommend this tour more and if at all possible would suggest requesting Katie as your guide.Show more
