- Day 1
Cairo Arrival
You'll arrive at Cairo Airport where someone from the hotel meets you for the drive to your accommodation. Get settled in, have dinner, and rest up for the week ahead.

Cairo
After breakfast at the hotel, head out to see the Great Pyramids of Giza, checking out Khufu, Khafre, and Menkaure along with the Valley Temple and the Sphinx. Lunch follows at a local spot, then you'll move on to the Necropolis of Saqqara to see the Step Pyramid of King Zoser before heading back.

Alexandria
Your guide picks you up for a tour of Alexandria, starting with Pompey's Pillar, a 4th century structure built for Emperor Diocletian. From there, walk through the Catacombs, a three-level Roman cemetery carved into rock. After lunch, see the Qaitbay Citadel on the old Lighthouse site, then finish at the Bibliotheca Alexandrina before returning to your hotel.

Begin at the Egyptian Museum, which holds over 250,000 artifacts from 5,000 years of history, including the Tutankhamen treasure exhibit. Next, visit the Mohamed Ali Alabaster Mosque in the Citadel of Salah El Din, grab lunch nearby, then explore the Islamic Cairo district and Khan El Khalili bazaar. End the day in Coptic Cairo visiting the Hanging Church, Ben Ezra Synagogue, Church of St. Barbara, and Church of Abu Serga.

A three hour drive takes you to Fayoum for a desert day trip. You'll try sandboarding down the dunes with expert guides and safety equipment, then relax at Magic Lake in Wadi Al Ryan national park where you can watch birds or simply enjoy the desert landscape.
