I recently had the pleasure of experiencing the Ban Gioc Waterfall Tour, and it was absolutely fantastic! The entire trip was well-organized, with seamless transportation and with a kind and knowledgeable guide who shared fascinating insights about the local culture and history. The highlight, of course, was the breathtaking Ban Gioc Waterfall itself. Standing in front of such a majestic natural wonder was truly awe-inspiring. The scenery surrounding the falls was equally stunning, making it a perfect spot for photography. The tour also included a visit to a local Village, a nearby cave and a short hike to a Pagoda, which enriched the experience even further. The breakfast, lunch and Dinner provided were delicious and offered a taste of local cuisine, adding to the overall enjoyment of the day. This trip is definitely for those who are looking for a different type of adventure and way of experiencing the local culture of Northern Vietnam. There were some pros and cons, like with anything, but our guide Chau made my experience 100% worth it! She was an amazing guide who went above and beyond to teach us about the culture, make sure we were comfortable, and give us fun facts along the way to help us learn about Vietnam. The worst part was the bus ride to/from Hanoi. The driver made us very car sick, so I suggest bringing motion sickness medication. But it’s a small price to pay for the wonderful experience this trip offered. I love getting to know the locals and learning about their family business of paper making and getting to try my hand at it! The sights, of course, were amazing as well. Our driver during the tour, Khoa, was wonderful! He was an excellent driver and photographer! Khoa and Chou took so many AMAZING pictures of me during this tour. Highly recommend!Show more

Incredibly beautiful trip. It was a long ride, but the bus was pretty and definitely worth it! Our guide, Dave, was super nice and could tell us a lot. We still had a bit of time on the first day and even went to a small village. At the waterfall we were even able to take a small boat to China. The hotel was okay too. Not dirty, but a few mosquitoes - mosquito net recommended. Overall everything was wonderful. Tour is really recommended to get to know the north of Vietnam. Payment information
- For any tour departing before June 8th, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after June 8th, 2026, a minimum payment of 10% is required to confirm your booking with Indochina Today Travel. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 35 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
- Some departure dates and prices may vary and Indochina Today Travel will contact you with any discrepancies before your booking is confirmed.
