Do the kids (12 and 10 years old) pay for this trip?

Our One Week in Costa Rica trip is an 18 - 35's trip so all travelers must be within that age range to book on. If you are looking for a Family trip in Costa Rica we do have 2 options available: Costa Rica Family Holiday.

I'm older than 35. I'm in my 50 but I'm fit, lots of fun and very young at heart. I love hiking, biking and any type of outdoor activities. Is it possible to join this group or do you have a similar group for mature adults I can join in March 2026?

The selected trip departure is specifically designed for travellers aged 18–35. We do have a similar trip with the same itinerary called 'Costa Rica: Hike, Bike & Raft', which accepts travellers aged 15+, so you would be welcome to join this departure.

On the days that we are choosing what activities we would like to do, are we given a list of activities and specific vendors and transportation to select from or do we have to arrange our own transportation and can select any vendor? For example, is there a specific zip lining company in Monteverde we have to use?

On free days, your group leader will usually suggest popular optional activities and trusted local vendors, and can help arrange transport if needed. You are also welcome to book independently if you prefer, there's flexibility. For something like zip-lining in Monteverde, there may be a recommended provider, but you are not limited to it. Just chat with your leader at the welcome meeting, and they will help you plan based on what you're interested in.

What accommodation is designated for this tour and does it have internet?

Accommodation will be on twin share basis and solo travelers will be paired up with another traveler of the same gender. A single supplement is available at an additional cost of $370 if you prefer not to share a room on this trip. Accommodations include: San Jose - Casa Orquideas, Monteverde - Hotel Atardecer, La Fortuna - Arenal Rabfer, Puerto Viejo de Talamanca - Cabinas Los Almendros.

My Central American trip was so good. Freddy, our guide was second to none. His patience, knowledge and humour showed no bounds. Thank you Freddy. The trip was full on and travelling could be tiring but understandable as we were seeing 5 countries in such a short space of time. The majority of accommodations were pretty good. My main disappointment was not having more time in Guatemala at the beginning of the trip. I arrived a day early but it was late. The next day the group didn't meet until 6pm and then we were away to Honduras really early the next morning. I would highly recommend this trip.Show more

The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 60 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
