I am afraid we do not offer pickup outside of Reykjavik area. The most convenient would be to take a FlyBus shuttle directly to BSÍ Bus Terminal.

We are embarking on a cruise that sails at 1000pm. We would need to be at the port late afternoon. Would this be a trip we could go on? Would we be able to book a room at same hotel before trip?

Could you let us know your departure time on the 23rd? The order of the tours is flexible, so perhaps we can arrange Golden Circle tour on your last day, as this is the shortest tour in the package. As for the hotel, yes, we can check the availability and price for the same hotel for the night before the trip once the booking is confirmed.

I have a couple in their 50s. Im looking at different options for Iceland. They do only have 5 days. I did see a 5 day tour but I was worried that their flight times may not be suitable for a 5 day tour? Will they be able to do a 5 day tour? If not, is there best option to do this 3 day tour (Best of Iceland) and then just do a night pre and night post at the same hotel - is that a possibility?

The 5-day tour I am afraid would not work for them considering the flight times. I would say this is the best option for limited time in Iceland. And yes, we can look into booking pre/ post accommodation.

They have a Family room which consist of a double bed, 1 bunk bed and a sofa. It is quite small though. The best would be probably 1 double rooms. And yes, we can arrange the same hotel.

There was a lot to see in Iceland for the few days that I was there and this tour did a good job of showing me the main sights. I was hesitant to drive in the rain and snow and these bus tours were a good solution. As a solo traveler, I had to pay a supplement but the hotel room I was given as part of the package was nice, breakfast was included and the bus picked up right in front of the hotel and was very prompt. The first day's tour was called something like "Golden Circe" and covered central/inland of west side of Iceland. That bus was very full (and was a large bus) but the guide did a good job of getting everyone back on the bus on time. I tend to prefer the smaller buses with ten passengers based on past day tour experiences. The tour to the south had some exciting weather but the scenery, especially the waterfalls, was spectacular. The trip to the north was on a nice, sunny day and was beautiful, as well. Each day, the passengers were different. These three tours run daily/often and can be booked independently of the accommodation if a more central location is preferred. Overall, I was happy with my choice and appreciated the convenience.Show more

We took the 1 day small bus trip to the golden circle and blue . We were promised a tour that started at Thingvellir National Park and had an hour at Gullfoss. nstead we went in the opposite direction. We had less than half the time at Gullfoss and arrived at Thingvellir after sunset. We can never get the lost time at these areas back or see what we missed. There were specific things I wanted to see that we could not do. Our tour was to end at the Blue Lagoon. That changed when the volcano erupted. The company obviously could not control that, but they could control the route they took and ensured we would see the areas they promised. It did not help that help that the feeder buses from downtown Reykjavik were late, the tour driver missed a turn on route, and some passengers were late at two stops. But we never would have signed up for a tour that did not first stop at the listed locations. The company unilaterally switched us to the Secret Lagoon. The pools in Reykjavik were better and it took up hours in the middle of the short day. The Golden Circle is amazing. I am sorry I entrusted our tour to this company.Show more

Assuming your home country does not have a visa agreement with the country you're planning to visit, you will need to apply for a visa in advance of your scheduled departure.

Payment information
- For any tour departing before November 20th, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after November 20th, 2026, a minimum payment of 20% is required to confirm your booking with BusTravel Iceland. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 60 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
- Some departure dates and prices may vary and BusTravel Iceland will contact you with any discrepancies before your booking is confirmed.
- The following cards are accepted for "BusTravel Iceland" tours: Visa, Maestro, Mastercard, American Express or PayPal. TourRadar does NOT charge you an extra fee for using any of these payment methods.
