This trip exceeded our expectations: the sights, sounds, smells, tastes and particularly the people of Vietnam; the cycling routes were varied in length and difficultly, and the terrain interesting. The descent through the Hon Ba nature reserve on Day 2 was truly unforgettable and took my breath away. We travelled from the UK as a couple in our fifties (we are moderate leisure cyclists), and were guided by Tung and his son, Kenny, who were great! Especially in giving encouragement to get to the summits of a few long hills, which felt a real achievement! The quality of most of the hotels was excellent. We would love to do another tour with VBT, but then there are so many other places to visit. In short, a great success!Show more

It was a little strange to be the only person for this group. I was after cycling most of the time alone until next morning. Cyclng was not that funny - much traffic and the batteries of the eBkes weren‘t always working. The accomodation was most of the tine good - some houses like a five star hotel I don‘t need. The worst part was the local train from Hue to Hanoi - 14 hours together with Vietnamese, no communication in English, AC didn‘t work reliable - and at 6 in the morning no hotel for check in. Should wait until 2 pm - and arranged finding a hotel on my own. They have to improve the tour with some details…Show more

Having been to Vietnam before, we booked this tour as a new way of experiencing this wonderful country. It did not disappoint. With Tung's expert guidance we explored the highlands and central coast, mostly using little-travelled backroads that took us through grand scenery and busy villages, through rice fields, across passes and along countless shrimp farms and monuments to ancestors. We cycled a total of 500km in the 10 biking days, but the daily amount is flexible as the van accompanying us would enable a shortening (or extending) of daily distances. Taking our food preferences into account we were guided to local eateries and street food vendors where we experienced the best local dishes. Accomodations were excellent and the fact that we had nothing to worry about at all during the whole trip made this tour absolutely the best way to visit Vietnam. I wholeheartedly recommend their tour to anyone who is keen on some active exploration of Vietnam and hope to be able to return myself to do some more exploring with them!Show more

Payment information
- For any tour departing before June 15th, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after June 15th, 2026, a minimum payment of 20% is required to confirm your booking with Vietnam Bicycle Travel. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 65 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
- Some departure dates and prices may vary and Vietnam Bicycle Travel will contact you with any discrepancies before your booking is confirmed.
