  The tours were excellent, and the guides explained everything clearly and professionally. The company was outstanding as well — they always responded promptly to our questions and were very organized. If you happened to get lost on the way to the meeting point, they were quick to assist and make sure you arrived without any issues. The only downside was that I expected to stay with the same group throughout the entire trip and to be picked up from the hotel each day before heading to the tours. If you’re traveling with children, this setup may not be very convenient unless you arrange everything in advance and are willing to pay an additional fee. However, if you’re traveling alone or with a group of adults and enjoy walking and exploring beyond the scheduled tour, this arrangement works well.   The tour operator’s staff was very attentive to our needs. They responded quickly with positive results usually within a minute or two. The general aspect of the tour is that you are on your own when not in a timed group tour event. Travel tickets and vouchers as well as transfers to and from accommodation is prearranged well communicated. The Hotels were all well chosen, while not top notch were well above average. Transfers were, for the most part, on time and enjoyable. If it were not for the weather spoiling some aspects, I would give this tour a 5 star rating. As it turned out some attractions had to be changed. For example, the Douro river was rain swollen to the point where the river cruises were cancelled due to safety and a mountain road to a palace was blocked due to a retaining wall collapse under pressure from the rain. The substitute attractions were well chosen as the best alternative. In one way we were able to see things that were out of the norm. Wanderful cannot be held responsible for the weather. I would choose them again if only for their quick responses to crisis and caring attitude of the staff.Show more

  This was my first experience with Wanderful Holidays This was my first experience with Wanderful holidays and I would highly recommend them when planning vacations. We took a 10 day tour starting in Milan, then on to Lake Como, Venice, Murano, Florence, Pisa, and Rome. We did add just about all the optional excursions and I think it enhanced the experience significantly. All were top notch except for one(Lake Como), which I shared with my contact. I expect they will likely improve that experience in the future. They did a great job of staying in contact on What’s app and even arranged for alternative transportation when our arrival flight was delayed.Show more
