I gather the actual hike is one day, we are 71 years old, and fit for our age but not sure what qualifies as fit for the hike. How long is it? Is there alot of steep inclines/steps? Is t9ck scrambling required. We have done the Portuguese camino a year ago and it was pretty easy but also pretty flat.

Something that is very important is the date of travel, because if it is during the winter you will not have a lot of hikes to do, if you do it during the summer you will have to hike for longer.

I have questions about the walks. Each day how many hours are we going to walk? Kilometers? In the itinerary there are not details about the walks and the trips by car, and the price is not cheap...so i would like to know all the details please.

Day 1: Drives from Tirana to Komani Lake 3h ( 4x4 off road) then from Fierza to Valbona 1h ( Asphalt Panoramic View). Hikes: Small Hikes in the Valbona National Park, free to choose. Day 2: Optional Transportation to recover 3h Hike( Local Transportstion). Hikes: Hike from Valbona to Thethi 12.7 Km, with 1100m elevation. Hike to Church of Thethi and Lock Tower. Day 3: Hike to Blue Eye 3.2 km( 40 minutes) Hike to Grunas Waterfall 2.3km ( 30 minutes). Drive: From Thethi To Shkodra and Tirana 4 h( 180km).

The first day we have only few short hikes in the valley. Second day we have a long hike of 8-9 Hours from Valbona to Thethi. Third day we have some hikes to Blue Eye, and Grunas Waterfall. They are pretty long and you need to be well prepare. The tours normally continue till December, depending on Weather conditions. in October is pretty good, you need something with long sleeves but overall everything is just normal weather 10-15°C.

Can you arrange pickups in Lezhe and drop me off in Lezhe on the return trip?

Yes we can pick you up in Lezha and Drop you off in Lezha. No Extra fee.

What is the best start date/location option in this case? What do we do with our luggage? How hard is the hike in the summer heat - can sporty teenagers handle it?

Starting time for the tour is Max 06:00 Am in Tirana International Airpor. We can pick you up there for free. Later than that, we can not start because the boat starts in Komani at 08:50. For the luggages we suggest you to leave them in Tirana for free in our office. During the hike is better to have only backpacks. The hike is intermediate difficult, that means can be done almost from everyone that is in normal health condition. The hik starts early morning so we will escape the heat of the day.

Is there still a lot of snow in these northern parts or will it be safe to do this Valbona to Theth walk in mid April?
