We have a 6 month old baby and would like to join one of your moroccan tours, do you allow the child?

    Age Range
    • SAHARA HOLIDAYOperatorWritten February 2026

We can definitely organize a private tour specifically tailored for you and your 6-month-old infant.

While many travelers try to see the whole country in a week, we actually suggest a 4 or 5-day itinerary focused specifically on the Southeast of Morocco.

Why 4–5 Days in the Southeast?
Focusing on this region allows you to experience the most iconic landscapes of Morocco without the exhaustion of "marathon" driving days. Here is why this works best for a family with a baby:

Shorter Travel Times: By narrowing the scope, we can reduce the hours spent in the car each day, giving your baby more time out of the car seat to play and rest.

The Magic of the Southeast: This area covers the Ait Ben Haddou kasbahs, the lush Dades Valley, and the golden dunes of Merzouga. It's the "postcard" version of Morocco.

Quality over Quantity: You'll have the flexibility to enjoy a relaxed lunch in a palm grove or an extra hour of sleep in a Riad rather than rushing to the next city.

Ideal April Weather: In mid-April, the Southeast is beautiful. The almond trees are often in bloom, and the desert temperatures are warm but not yet the scorching heat of summer.

      Private Tour Perks
With a private driver and vehicle, your schedule is 100% flexible. If the baby needs a break, we simply pull over. If you want to spend an extra hour enjoying the view of the Todra Gorge, we stay. You are in the driver's seat (metaphorically speaking!).

      TravelerWritten February 2026

what would it cost though for a private tour?

    • SAHARA HOLIDAYOperatorWritten February 2026

Since April is the peak travel season in Morocco, I highly recommend this specialized 6-day itinerary:

Route: Marrakech to the Southeast (The Great Desert Loop)
It is designed to be a "slow-travel" experience, which is perfect for ensuring you and your 6-month-old baby remain comfortable while seeing the very best of the Southeast.

      The Itinerary:
Day 1: Marrakech to Dades Gorges – Cross the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n'Tichka pass and overnight among the stunning rock formations of the Dades Valley.
Day 2: Dades Gorges to Zagora – Travel through the lush Draa Valley, home to millions of palm trees, and stay the night in Zagora.
Day 3: Zagora to M'hamid – Visit the ancient library and pottery workshops in Tamgroute before reaching M'hamid, the gateway to the deep Sahara.
Day 4: M'hamid to Erg Chigaga Dunes – Experience a true desert adventure! We will take a private 4x4 into the wild Erg Chigaga dunes for a night under the stars in a desert camp.
Day 5: Erg Chigaga to Ait Ben Haddou – Travel through the dry lake of Iriqui and the carpet-weaving town of Taznakht, ending the night at the famous UNESCO World Heritage site of Ait Ben Haddou.
Day 6: Return to Marrakech – A scenic drive back through the Ounila Valley, arriving in Marrakech by the afternoon.

      Pricing & Details
Total Cost: €1,500 not final (for 2 Adults + 1 Infant)

      What's Included:
Total Privacy: A private, air-conditioned vehicle with a dedicated professional driver/guide.
Comfort for Baby: We will provide a high-quality, secure car seat for the duration of the trip.
Accommodations: 5 nights in hand-picked, baby-friendly Riads and luxury desert camps.
Meals: Daily breakfasts and traditional Moroccan dinners.
Flexibility: As this is a private tour, we can stop at any time for feedings, diaper changes, or rest.

      Not Included:
      Daily lunches and personal drinks.

Why this is perfect for your family:
April offers some of the most beautiful weather in Morocco. By stretching the trip to 6 days, we avoid long, exhausting drives. This pace allows you to enjoy the Sahara at a rhythm that suits your baby's needs.
