Itinerary

  1. Day 1

    Ho Chi Minh City to Vinh Long

    Your hotel pickup happens at 7:30 am, then you'll have a 75-minute van ride to My Tho where you'll grab coffee and check over your bikes. From there, you're cycling 50km through tropical fruit farms and along canal paths, stopping at a local Vietnamese market along the way. Lunch is a traditional meal at a village restaurant, and after eating you'll take a boat to An Binh Island where you're staying at Ut Trinh Homestay. The afternoon is yours to wander around the lush island and get settled in.

  2. Day 2

    Vinh Long to Tra Vinh

    Breakfast starts at 8 am, then after a short boat trip and an hour-long van transfer you'll reach Ben Tre to tour a coconut candy factory. You'll cycle 45km through Mekong villages, rice paddies, and coconut plantations on flat paved routes, then board a ferry across the Co Chien River. Lunch is Mekong-style at a local restaurant, and you'll continue cycling through water coconut farms before taking another ferry to Tra Vinh. By evening you're checking out the local nightlife and trying different delicacies around town while staying at Cuu Long Hotel.

    Tra Vinh to Can Tho

    The van departs at 7:30 am for a cultural exploration of Khmer people and their historical and architectural sites. You'll then cycle 50km down small country lanes through villages and farms, stopping for a rural lunch in the Cau Ke district. After that, a short transfer takes you to Can Tho, a busy city in the heart of the Mekong Delta. You'll spend the afternoon and evening walking around to take in the sights, sounds, and food of Can Tho, including its famous night markets, staying at Ninh Kieu Riverside Hotel.

    After an early breakfast, you'll take an hour-long boat ride to see the well-known Cai Rang floating market. A van then picks you up for lunch on the drive back before heading toward Saigon, which takes around 3 hours to reach.
