Itinerary
- Day 1
Bogotá
You'll arrive at Bogotá airport and get transferred to your hotel in the colonial old town. After you clear customs and collect your luggage, the drive into the city takes about 30 minutes depending on traffic. Get settled in and rest up for the days ahead.


- Day 2
Bogotá
After breakfast, head out on a half-day city tour that covers La Candelaria, the historic colonial district. You'll see Plaza de Bolívar and walk through several old churches before heading up the cable car to Monserrate mountain for panoramic views of the city sprawling below. The afternoon is yours to wander around on your own, grab lunch somewhere, or rest at the hotel.

Bogotá to Villa de Leyva
Drive north to Zipaquirá and descend 120 meters into a salt mine to see the Salt Cathedral carved into the rock. From there, you'll continue through Chiquinquirá and stop in Raquira, a pottery village, before reaching Villa de Leyva. This colonial village has cobbled streets and colonial houses surrounding a massive plaza. Spend the evening wandering around and taking in the atmosphere.

Villa de Leyva to Coffee Zone
Spend the morning exploring Villa de Leyva and the surrounding area more. Head back to Bogotá Airport by midday and catch a flight to the coffee zone. You'll meet your local guide and transfer to a traditional coffee hacienda where you'll get a detailed tour of how coffee grows and gets processed, plus a tasting. By afternoon, relax by the pool and enjoy the green Andean views.

- Day 5
Coffee Zone

Cocora Valley
Drive to Cocora Valley and do a short hike to the cloud forest edge. You'll see the wax palm, Colombia's national tree and one of the world's tallest palm species. Later, head to Salento to explore the typical architecture and wander through small craft workshops before returning to your hacienda.

Tayrona National Park
Spend the day at Tayrona National Park exploring several beaches including Cañaveral, Arrecife, La Piscina, and San Juan del Cabo. The park has miles of sandy beaches, palm trees, and large rock formations jutting out from the water. You'll hike between beaches and swim in the Caribbean waters throughout the day.

Cartagena
Take a morning tour learning about Cartagena's history and secrets. You'll explore the old town surrounded by 11 kilometers of fortifications and visit San Felipe Fortress for great views of the city and sea. Then check out the Convento de la Popa convent founded in 1607. The rest of the day is free to enjoy the Caribbean atmosphere and grab meals at local restaurants.
