Perfect Tour plan, First day you are arriving at Evening that day you can stay at Negombo hotel & then you can go to Sigiriya. You will stay 6 Days: 01 Night Negombo, 01 Night Sigiriya, 01 Night Kandy, 01 Night Ella & 01 Night Colombo

What time the tour ends on Day 5 (Yala National Park), so that my guests can book the return flights appropriately

How much walking is involved? My mom cannot do strenuous activities. I am really interested in the Yala national park, in particular the opportunity of seeing leopards. It feels a lot of activities are packed in the last day, are they all feasible while still enjoying the safari? Will all the activities be carried out as outlined in the itinerary? Or do you expect any change? Would it be possible eventually to add one last night on last day of the tour so we can leave the day after without stress?

Everyday small walking is involved, but adventure activities can skip, all sights not must visited places, your mom can choose no issue at all. As per the tour plan on last day, you have chance to visit Yala park for half day only - around 03 hours inside the park. All the activities will be followed as per itinerary, but if it feel like adventure can skip no issue at all. Yes sure no issue at all, can add and customize as well, will be additionally charged.

what is the earliet pick up schedule from airport as my flight land at 4:45 AM on the last my return flight is a 18:55 - what all places could be covered we are mother and daughter travelling - is it group tour or private?

We can do the pick up at after 06.00am, Its suitable for as after landing emmigration and luggage to clear it would take around 01 hours, So around after 06.00am we can do the pick up at airport. As per original tour plan all the sights will be covered and on last day Yala would have to Skip. As your flight by Evening, So have to be ariport bit earlier. Its group tour , even no one join untill last minute, we will proceed the tour.

Private room. Yes you can join the tour. Currently no one starting on 6th but on 5th there are 2 people. Guides are local.

I would like to request the amount in USD for this trip. A small group is perfectly fine with me, but accommodation for one person per night throughout the trip. I will be able to provide the exact start date later, but I will be traveling to the country in early October.

The 5 day tour that I enjoyed certainly exceeded my expectations. I had hoped to join a group tour, and was apprehensive when I discovered that I was own with a driver, but Kasun Nilanga was everything a driver/guide should be and made my tour a wonderful experience. The highlights were certainly Sigiriya, the Dambulla caves and the Temple of the Tooth in Kandy. I would have chosen to miss the village experience, a pressured tourist trap, and preferred to visit another ancient site. The train journey to Ella was an experience not to be missed and an opportunity to see the glorious hill country. As I had already been on safari in a national park, I chose to miss Yala on the last day, which Kasun agreed to, getting me to the airport in plenty of time for my flight. I cannot heap enough praise on Kasun, who looked after me ( a 79 year old) superbly. I feel strongly that the contrast between my top grade accommodation and his shared digs was embarrassing and would prefer my fees to have been more fairly distributed. I had not expected such high grade accommodation, nor my driver to stay in such basic digs. Overall, a great trip. Thank you.Show more

Some scheduled stops, such as the Spice Garden and Isini Gems, felt overly sales-driven and high-pressure. Most meals were provided as hotel buffets, which were convenient, though the quality varied depending on the location. Overall, this was a wonderful way to explore Sri Lanka. We were only 2 participants. Not very logical program. I cannot understand how it is possible to do what was programmed for the day 5 in one day.But since we were only 2 people and Kitty the driver was very kind knowledgeable and responsible we could do the necessary adaptations. We skip the Little Adam's Peak and Yala Nat. Park (we did Mineria Elephant Park which was not included orriginally on the second day). Instead did a nice walking tour in Galle Dutch Fort along the very long drive from Ella to Colombo and even a short Colombo city tour at the end. These both should be included. The Alta Vista hotel in Ella looked to us very bad, so we changed to a better one ands got a small refund. Places and activities from Day 1 to day 3 were exhausting but exciting, especially the climb to Sigiriya rock. The driver assigned to us from Nuwara Eliya to Ella was not familiar with the tourist destinations, he kept on asking from the locals which way to take. We wasted time on the 4th day, waited for 3 hrs in the train station to Ella, missed lunch. The driver did not even offer to take us to a nearby resto. The 5th day was hectic: climbed Adams peak, to the 9 arch bridge then joined the safari. I rate safari 2.5/5 as there were very few animals. It was more of bumpy ride. Over-all, it was worth the money.Show more

That happened on the first day, but the remaining four days were only me and a driver, different driver each day. On the trip to Yala national park, the driver asked me for 42,000 rupees for entry, hire of jeep, and driver. I don't know if that was the correct price. I asked for a receipt but was not given one. I was expecting a 2nd class train ticket but received a 3rd class ticket on the slow train, which made the 5+ hour journey to Ella very crowded and uncomfortable. In addition, we did not stop at Hanuman Hindu Temple, which had been listed as part of the tour. While I still enjoyed much of the trip (particularly Sigirya Rock and Dambulla Cave Temple), I would suggest confirming ticket classes and all planned stops in advance to ensure traveler expectations are met.Show more

Payment information
- For any tour departing before May 4th, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after May 4th, 2026, a minimum payment of 20% is required to confirm your booking with Apple Vacations Pvt Ltd. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 60 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
- Some departure dates and prices may vary and Apple Vacations Pvt Ltd will contact you with any discrepancies before your booking is confirmed.
- The following cards are accepted for "Apple Vacations Pvt Ltd" tours: Visa, Maestro, Mastercard, American Express or PayPal. TourRadar does NOT charge you an extra fee for using any of these payment methods.

- Your money is safe with TourRadar, as we only pay the tour operator after your tour has departed.
