Does this tour visit all the key Poldark filming locations?

Yes we do, We visit several of the key locations that were used for filming Poldark, Including Charlestown and Botalick mine. You will certainly get feel for Ross and Demelsa on this tour. We also visit Port Isaac home of Doc Martin and Fisherman friends.

We are a group of about 25 friends from Bavaria and would have liked to take a tour of Cornwall in May next year. Visits, beautiful pubs, beautiful, special overnight stays etc.

Do you have any flexibility with dates? Perhaps pushing your tour back a week? Would your group be OK with commentary in English?

Unfortunately, we do not have any scheduled departures for July or August 2025. We do plan to have scheduled departures for June 2025 and September 2025 the dates are set to hit Tourradar in September 2024.

All breakfasts are included in the tour price. You are responsible for paying for your own meals. This enables you the freedom to eat when and what you like. And yes paying the supplement will insure you have a double room to yourself.

What are all of the modes of transportation (train, motor coach)? Is there a toilet on any motor coach used?

For the tour in Cornwall we use a 19 seat Mercedes mini coach (Note we only take a maximum of 14 on anyone tour) If available the London to Cornwall, Exeter to London legs of the journey we often use a 32 seat coach with toilet on board. Once in Cornwall we are rarely on the bus more than 1 hour at a time and rest stops are always implemented

I thoroughly recommend David’s tour to anyone considering a trip to beautiful Cornwall. David is a fantastic gentleman, his itinerary is well planned and accommodation was delightful. I was fortunate to meet Doc Martin’s policeman - a real treat for me. If you are considering a Cornish tour please peruse David’s site. I was a single traveler and felt very safe with Daceys Tours. David was very friendly, full of information/tips on how to enjoy Cornwall. I liked that the tour was limited on travelers. As before, David proved to be a perfect tour guide, showing us the beauties of Cornwall, helping us with special requests (tickets for the Minack Theatre for the same day), but also leaving us time to explore Cornwall at our own pace.
