  I recently completed a tour with Marko Egypt Tours, and it was a genuinely well-organized and memorable experience from start to finish. The tour manager, Ali, stood out immediately. He was consistently responsive, handled every question without delay, and made sure everything ran smoothly. You can tell when someone actually cares about doing their job properly, and he does. The thoughtful gift he gave us was a nice touch and showed attention to detail that most tour operators don’t bother with. The hotel selection was another highlight. The pyramid view was incredible—during the day it’s impressive, but at night, when the lights hit the pyramids, it’s on a completely different level. That alone made the stay worth it. Ahmed, the driver, was reliable and helpful throughout, which matters more than people realize when you're moving between multiple locations. Everything felt safe and efficient. Our guide, Abla, was extremely knowledgeable and played a big role in elevating the experience. She didn’t just go through the motions—she actually explained the history, context, and significance behind what we were seeing. She also made sure we were comfortable and taken care of at every step, and brought us to some genuinely worthwhile places instead of the usual rushed tourist stops. Overall, the tour was well planned, well executed, and delivered exactly what it promised. If you're considering booking, this is a company you can trust.Show more

  Our tour guide was Sayed Amin and he was the best tour guide we could have asked for. Our flight was delayed and he was so accommodating checking our status and making sure we still got the best tour possible. So knowledge and friendly. Our driver Mina Lofty was also excellent and was there as soon as we arrived from the airport to take us to the pyramids. All the stops on the tour are interesting and factual and the food was beautiful. Could not recommend enough!!Show more

  Excellent tour. Wonderful guide Mo was a great tour guide from start to finish. Friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, and caring. It is so important to have a guide at the museum to direct you to view the main exhibits and as a Phd Egyptologist his knowledge was immense. He started the tour showing us the sites on the way to the museum. I would say that it might be better to get a tour with entry fee included to save time queuing for the ticket, but Mo queued with us and showed us through and it took no longer than approx 10 minutes to get the ticket and gain entry. No never hurried us along. He gave us options of what to see. I did not realise that included in the tour was a visit to the Papyrus museum. Very interesting to see how Papyrus was made and some of the idea behind the museum was to buy Papyrus art products. But absolutely no pressure to do so from Mo or the shop which was a welcome relief. Also included was a visit to the Oil and scent store which was actually interesting to smell all the different oil scents and see the intricate containers and again no pressure at all to purchase. Prices there are protected by the government Mo explained so if you do buy you don’t feel you have overpaid. Mohammed the driver was also excellent and all in all it was a great trip and o recommend the tour to all I had checked the reviews for this particular tour carefully before I chose it and was not disappointed in the least.   Great day with Manar We had a great day with our guide Manar, who was very knowledgeable and most important very nice and easy to be around. She recommended what do to and see, in particular in Sakkara and Memphis, where it is good to have someone recommending to you which of the many sights to visit. In Sakkara we went to a very interesting tomb, which she recommended and where no body else was visiting at the time. We often are a bit stressed or annoyed when a guide talks too much and she was just perfect, knowing how much we could take and when we had enough. We highly recommend her! She also was great in getting water, coffee and falafel sandwiches at non touristy places where we paid Egyptian prices instead of tourist prices which was greatly appreciated.
