    Kathleen

    Asked on September 16th, 2025

How many km are there in total to cycle?

    Tour Details
    • Vietnam By BikeOperatorWritten September 2025

Our cycling distance is around 50-70km per day.

    • K

      Kathleen

      TravelerWritten September 2025

Are there still any problems at the borders between Thailand and Cambodia, and Cambodia and Vietnam?

    • K

      Kathleen

      TravelerWritten September 2025

I noticed that two hiking excursions are planned. Unfortunately, I can't walk very well because I have a stiff leg on my right side! This means I can't bend my entire leg at the knee. Could these activities perhaps be changed and something else be arranged instead?

    • K

      Kathleen

      TravelerWritten September 2025

What type of manual mountain bike do you use and do you have e-bikes available? I need a bike suitable for someone with a leg support requirement.

    • Vietnam By BikeOperatorWritten September 2025

Regarding the borders between Thailand and Cambodia, and Cambodia and Vietnam, the situation has calmed down. As local operators, we receive regular updates and can assure you there is no need to worry.

    • Vietnam By BikeOperatorWritten September 2025

Regarding your concern about hiking excursions, if you are unable to participate, please let us know. We can tailor a better option for you, such as a cultural tour by car, to ensure you still have a wonderful experience.

    • Vietnam By BikeOperatorWritten September 2025

Our manual mountain bike is a Trek Marlin 5. Given your need for leg support, we believe this bike would be suitable for an easier assisted ride with your partner, or you could use an e-bike for the best assistance.

    • K

      Kathleen

      TravelerWritten September 2025

I need e-bikes for our group of 4 people, all 60+. What sizes do you have available and what type of e-drive is installed in the bikes?

    • K

      Kathleen

      TravelerWritten September 2025

What elevation differences will we face daily cycling on this tour?

    • Vietnam By BikeOperatorWritten September 2025

We offer three different types of e-bikes. The Kaze e-bike is used for the Thailand portion of the trip, from Bangkok to Poipet. The Giant e-bike is used in Cambodia, from Poipet to Song Tien. The Twitter E300 Pro is used in Vietnam's Mekong Delta. We have various sizes available in all three countries. Our bikes have a pedal-assist system. This system helps you ride more easily and faster, ensuring you can keep up with the group. Our local guides and drivers will charge the bikes every night.

    • K

      Kathleen

      TravelerWritten September 2025

Can I get in the support van if the cycling becomes too steep for me, since I can only pedal with one leg?

    • Vietnam By BikeOperatorWritten September 2025

All 3 of our countries offer full van support, so you can request our local guide to arrange the support van at any time. However, please notify our guide 15 to 30 minutes in advance. Our guide will have the driver discreetly positioned, bringing the van only when needed.

    • K

      Kathleen

      TravelerWritten October 2025

Is there a fixed start date in February 2026?

    • K

      Kathleen

      TravelerWritten October 2025

What happens if the Poipet border between Thailand and Cambodia is closed due to conflict?

    • Vietnam By BikeOperatorWritten October 2025

For most of our bike tours, booking earlier makes it easier to arrange your desired bike tour services. Therefore, we encourage you to book as early as possible. Once your booking is confirmed, we will reserve the services for your travel itinerary. Furthermore, if you cancel this tour 45 days prior to the departure date, we are happy to offer a 100% refund (excluding bank transfer fees).

    • Vietnam By BikeOperatorWritten October 2025

This tour, however, presents a challenge at the Poipet border between Thailand and Cambodia, which can involve a lengthy crossing time. There is also a possibility of the border being closed on certain conflict days. We have a second option for you should the border be closed: Day 1: Arrive in Bangkok, Day 2: Cycling in Nayok Park, Day 3: Cycling to Ayutthaya, Day 4: Cycling from Ayutthaya to Khao Yai National Park, Day 5: Cycling from Khao Yai National Park back to Bangkok, Day 6: Rest and fly to Siem Reap, then relax at the resort. From Day 7 onwards, you will follow our original cycling tour plan.

Do you provide the adventure in Spanish?

    Tour Details
    • L

      Lee

      TravelerWritten September 2024

Do you provide arrival and departure transfers?

    • Vietnam By BikeOperatorWritten September 2024

Spanish is not the primary language in Indochina, and we do not have a dedicated Spanish-speaking biking guide. However, we can combine a cycling guide with a Spanish culture guide for your bike tour. If you choose to use the culture guide, the additional fee will be $1,300 USD per group.

    • Vietnam By BikeOperatorWritten September 2024

Our tour package includes pickup and drop-off transfers.

    • Vietnam By BikeOperatorWritten September 2024

If your group reaches the minimum of 2 people, please let us know, and we will double-check the availability of our Spanish-speaking guides in the 3 countries. We will then get back to you with the reasonable cost.

    • Vietnam By BikeOperatorWritten January 2024

The cycling holiday from Bangkok to Saigon is easy level:
      - Mostly flat (90% easy and flat) + 10% is hilly route 10% to the Khao Yai National Park and Angkor Forest that's covered around the Angkor Complex
      - This tour of 14 days is the maximize venture and holiday for our explorers, if you wish to train harder and more challenge. I will tailor the similar route with the longer adventure with our team.
