Bucharest
Start your day at the Palace of Parliament, which ranks among the world's largest administrative buildings. Walk through downtown Bucharest to check out Hanul Lui Manuc and Revolution Square, then head to the Romanian Athenaeum. From there, you'll stroll along Victory Avenue and finish at the Arch of Triumph, where exhibits cover Romanian history and the country's unification story.

- Day 2
Curtea de Arges - Transfagarasan Highway - Sibiu
Leave Bucharest and drive toward Transylvania, stopping first at Curtea de Arges to see the royal tombs and the 13th century Royal Church. Next up is Poenari Fortress, where you'll climb 1,480 stairs to reach the ruined castle that connects to Vlad the Impaler's legend. Later, you'll drive the Transfagarasan Highway with its dramatic mountain scenery before arriving in Sibiu for a tour of this 900-year-old medieval town.

- Day 3
Biertan - Sighisoara
Head to two UNESCO World Heritage sites in Transylvania. First, walk around Biertan Fortified Church, a Saxon settlement from 1224 with three defensive walls and seven bastions. Then move on to Sighisoara, where you'll walk the cobblestone streets of this 12th century medieval town enclosed by 14-meter stone walls. The fortress here has been continuously inhabited for more than 700 years.

Your guide leads a walking tour through Brasov's Old Town, where you'll see the Black Church and the medieval city walls surrounding the historic center. Later in the evening, you'll go to Bran Castle, known for its connection to the Dracula legend, and try some local specialties at the castle grounds.

Peles Castle - Sinaia - Snagov
Visit Peles Castle, the royal family's summer residence that took 41 years to complete between 1873 and 1914. This castle in the Carpathians has hosted numerous important visitors and attracts thousands yearly. After that, head to Sinaia Monastery, which sits in one of Romania's most beautiful mountain areas and dates back over 300 years. Finish with Snagov Monastery, which has historical ties to Vlad Tepes.
